I had been considering replacing our 'Malibu' landscape lights for a couple of years, with the purpose of lowering our energy use as I love having the yard & house-front lit up at night, plus know that illumination adds security. Additionally, I wanted to lower our energy usage, as I have them on all night. But I hesitated, not finding fixtures I liked and concerned about the overall cost of upgrading 10 lights and the transformer. I finally realized, after talking to a product expert, that I could just simply replace the halogen bulbs in my fixtures. I measured carefully to make sure the bulbs would fit, then ordered these, and voila - the bulbs are just a bit brighter, I know will last for years so I won't have to replace them regularly as I did with the halogen bulbs, plus I'm confident I'm using a lot less energy use - so I'm stoked!

The electrician said we would need to replace the entire lighting system; they are so old, the bulbs aren't made any longer. Which is par for course with this house. We purchased it 10 years ago, and the upgrades made by the previous owner (circa 2008) have been falling apart. The prior owners also used random brands not commonly found. I didn't want to spend the money to update the whole system, so I jumped on Amazon hoping that by some miracle, China (or some other country) did indeed have a stash of the old light bulbs. I was pleasantly surprised to find these LED replacements!! Via YouTube, I learned that they may flicker because of the differential in power draw, but they don't flicker! Popped in easy too! On the lighting spectrum, they are a little too yellow. I prefer softer lighting, but since the are in the kitchen, a brighter blue light would be helpful. I could probably find a cooler version of the same bulb, but this is already a win at the price. And they don't flicker. I'm gonna take the wins I do have. Plus, I'd rather have these over replacing all the cannisters in the system! I do need to replace the electrician tho...

These bulbs work perfectly as a direct replacement for old, hot burning halogens. I used them to replace all of the halogen bulbs in my landscape lighting. My house is brighter than ever before. I'm very glad I chose these bulbs.

They look like they’ll work, but with modification. These come across as flimsy, compared with the Halcos they replace. The electrode prongs are thick and BLUNT, making sliding into my Sollos landscape fixtures difficult. I ended up filing the ends to create bevels.

We have had it for only a month plus, but the lighting is comparable to our other landscape lights, & it is holding up to considerable rain.

Very happy with these LEDs. They produce the 2700K color light I wanted, at the proper brightness. Gone are the power-hungry halogen bulbs. They fit the sockets perfectly.

the light quality is good. the bases are a bit large and don't plug all the way into my light sockets.

I replaced my 7 incandescent landscaping bulbs with these led bulbs, and had no issues. The incandescent bulbs were burning out frequently, and I'm hoping these will last longer. Time will tell. Despite the cautionary note, there is no flickering.

Caí en a trampa de lo barato sale caro... Conecté uno de los focos e hizo corto circuito en mi casa. Tengo unos apagadores inteligentes y los fundió. 100USD del contacto y gracias a que tengo un regulador el resto del circuito sobrevivió... menos mal que tengo seguro en la casa y cubre este tipo de incidentes pero es un foco muuuuuuuuy chafa. No lo compren y protejan su casa y electrodomésticos.

I replaced the 20W halogen bulbs off my track lighting with these 3.5W LED bulbs from Simba. Good fit, adequate illumination, well packaged in a cardboard box. Unit price of a box of 6 means you’re paying almost half what it costs in the store.
