This publication is a must for anyone who wants to keep up a high standard of driving in this crazy age we live in. Beautifully written and edited, with so much information to bring you up to date with what you need to know to be safe.

If you want to improve your driving skills, this is an excellent place to start. Perhaps even consider joining your local IAM group and going for your advanced driving test in due course.

This is the textbook you will need for any of the IAM or RoSPA advanced driving courses. It’s well written and contains a lot of information.Not all of the book applies to civilian drivers, but the principles are sound.I have knocked off a star because I feel the book needs further examples, but in fairness that is what a course is for.

I first read this book over fifty years ago. It is as readable now as it was then.

My late father owned this book...back in the day, and was and Advanced Motorist.I caught a speeding fine about a month ago and had to do a speed awareness course. I thought ' I need to improve my driving'.If you want to improve your driving and thus improve your safety and that of others, then this book is the way forward.Ok, we may not all become advanced motorists, but there's always room for improvement.

I have a number of copies of different editions of this book and it is nice to see it updated.Whether you are learning to drive or been driving 50 years this book as something to offer.
