This is the perfect set for two. The ability to set it up in different ways is also a plus. Love that the foot stools slide under the seats when not in use. I purchased the red cushions and they are a true red (not orange) and are fairly comfortable, a little thin for my preference. The cushions are NOT water resistant and appear to absorb water ~ need to be covered if you wish to use them anytime after rain. I found a really nice outdoor tablecloth to cover mine and it works great.I spent an entire day reviewing various outdoor furniture sets that would be sturdy, attractive, comfortable, and affordable. I settled on these and I'm not disappointed, I can replace the cushions inthe future as I believe the furniture will last quite a long time if cared for properly (do not recommend leaving outdoor furniture outside in the winter ~ it shortens the life span of the furniture).

So let’s get this out of the way first. This set combined is nearly 100 lbs. it’s sturdy. Because of this the seller must ship in two boxes to control shipping cost. Yes, you pay the shipping, again note the weight. If you expect free shipping then the price of this unit would be 100 dollars higher. Thank the seller for the two piece shipment to keep the cost down. That being said, Amazon cannot track two shipments on a single item sale. Let’s just say they got lazy. So you will get confirmation of one tracking number but not the other and the boxes may arrive a day apart but they will arrive and in great condition, don’t panic.So I received my second box today. Assembly is not that involved and they use pictures and letters to help you put the pieces together. There are Allen screws and washers. One tip when assembling a section, don’t tighten down all they way until all the screws are in. This will make assembly so much easier for you. Remember though to go back and tighten everything down before finishing a section. No superhuman strength needed, they supply the needed wrench and just make everything snugThis set is very flexible which is exactly what I wanted. Multi position chair, foot rests that hide under the seat when not being used, full recliner, pull up shelves on the outside of each chair, glass top on the center storage piece and all the cushions can be stored in the various boxes when not in use.Now this is made with good materials but I see years of sun taking its toll. Do yourself a favor and get an outdoor loveseat cover for protection in the sun, rain and cold if you have that. I’m not saying this is cheaply made, it is not, it is made in China but well made. But it is not a 2000 dollar set that I had looked at previously. This is a very comfortable seating set, and being picky I am very happy with it.

Well made beautiful set! I was so pleased as my son and his friend found it simple to assemble. A few pieces weren’t labeled with identifying labels, but the instruction manual was great! Large photos to make assembling easy. It took about an hour and a half with two people. The red cushions matched another 7 piece unit I purchased from another manufacturer.The harder part of the recline chair portion was premade so it just folded out of the box!I love the design of the mini table (in between the two chaise lounges ) and the built in fold out tables! Again those were pre-assembled… just fold out. I am beyond pleased with this purchase. A great value for an affordable price!!!

One of the boxes arrived damaged, and a crossbar piece on one of the chairs was damaged. Although this was disappointing, customer service was QUICK to respond. All they needed was a pic of the box and the label info (so they can make a claim to shipping co) and a pic of damage to the box and the chair piece. Their service was impressive, as they communicated with me almost daily, and shipped out another box within 2 days of me sending the pics. They get an A+ in my book!About the set - my husband described to me what he wanted in a lounge set, so I looked on Amazon and this was the only set I could find that checked off all his boxes. The back lies down flat or you can put it up in several positions and sit up in it like a chair. The ottomans are great to put your feet on while sitting, you can get out of your chair without sitting on the side (like most one piece loungers), and they have storage inside. The table with a glass top also has storage, and is great for an arm rest when you put it in the middle of the chairs. Every piece is sturdy. The cushions are certainly adequate, although if you want more padding you could change them out or add one on top. It took my husband about an hour to assemble everything (uses an allen wrench). All in all, we are super happy with this set and kudos to their customer service!

Clever set that is easy to store. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the cushins are very poor quality.
