It was so hard to find bumpers that were tall enough and still small in diameter. These are a perfect size. If they didn't adhere, usually because I moved them or touched them, I glued them with a little E6000. The only problem is after a year they have started yellowing. You can't really see them that well but I wish they kept the original look.

I purchased these little "feet" for both wood and ceramic soap dishes. They adhere extremely well, but I learned, like others have pointed out, that it is important to grasp the sides of the feet and not touch the adhesive; otherwise, they fall off. Once they are on, however, they are difficult to remove or re-position (I know that because I tried). Tip: For that reason, it is best to measure and mark with a pen or Sharpie where you want the feet to be positioned before adhereing them to the surface.On ceramic soap dishes, I use them on the bottom AND top of the dish. On the bottom, the feet prevent the countertop from being scratched, even though the bottom surface of the dish is smooth. This also prevents the dish from slipping and sliding. I buy triple-milled soaps made in France, and the triple-milling process produces a luxurious lather. If wet when placed in a dish without some sort of elevation, the soap melts faster and becomes mushy. With four of these little feet to raise them up and allow the dish to drain, the soap dries quickly without getting soft and lasts longer.On wood soap dishes (I have teak), I did the same. When wood sits in standing water or is in a direct line of a shower spray, it will become moldy. Therefore, I place the dish on a built-in shelf in the shower that does not have the spray directly on it. Then, every few days or once a week, I rinse the dish off in the shower spray to clean it.I recommend this product and will buy again.

I am using these for a very specialized and pretty arcane application but I do alot of picture framing and when I do a frame with a strainer that is well below the back plane of the moulding these are perfect bumpers for the base of the frame as all the others on the market aren't tall enough. Top notch product.

We recently got new counter tops. I needed feet to go under trivets or wooden mats to raise them. They stick so well, I ordered more!

1. Just like any adhesive product the surface needs to be cleaned with alcohol or some "no residue" grease remover. 2. Then don't touch the sticky surface of the bumper with your fingers. (I know you want to see how sticky it is).3. Put it on and leave it alone for several hours. Don't keep wiggling it to see if it's sticking.Ask me how I know you'll do all this and then say these don't work. : ) Been there/ Done that.

I use these on the bottom of my cake drums so my customers can get their fingers under a heavy cake so it's easier to move. So far, they've done a great job of sticking and giving just enough clearance without being obvious. I love them! I wish I would have thought of them sooner because it makes lifting and transporting cakes sooooo much easier and they're inexpensive!

These are what you would expect from a traditional bumper. I would implore you to check out the soft-close bumpers. They are far superior to this and glad we switched away from these.
