I had a function to go to this Sunday, and I was just waiting for the hat. To my surprise and anger the hat was tooo small it was 6-7/8, I am a 7-1/8 size or 57cm. I had to cancel the affair. I did not have the hat.But the hat is gorgeous. This hat is so cool if I could smash it on my head I would, but it would mess up the shape. You must get the right size for the hat to look right. It will be going back for exchange.

Don't bother ordering this hat. It was delayed 2 months, which I overlooked because of the pandemic. However, when it arrived it was crushed to bits. All attempts to have it replaced by the company have resulted in talking in circles. The only attempts to resolve the issue have been my emails to them. I received one response then nothing. No way to run a reputable business & take care of customers. It's a shame, by all accounts it's a beautiful hat...now if my head was shaped like a pancake I might be able to use the one I got.

Ordered a size 6 7/8, which should measure 55cm or 21.5 inches. The shape is very round, which causes the hat to squeeze at the front and back of head while wobbling on the sides. Add that to the fact that it measures at 53cm or under 21 inches, it's actually a size 6 5/8, which is the smallest adult size. But with the odd shape, it will never fit a size 6 5/8. Although it comes with two felt pads to add to the sides for a better fit, I recommend ordering 2 full sizes bigger than normal and add the felt pads so that it fits correctly.

This hat arrived in great condition. For the cost I wasn't sure what the quality would have been, although, the reviews were right on - Exceptional Quality. I get compliments every time I wear the hat. I wish hats (stylish hats) would make a comeback- away with the ball caps.

This is a very nice solid velvety hat with a great inseam. It arrived in excellent condition and was bubble packed. My only concern is that the shape of the inside is round. Human skulls are not round. They are oblong. But this can be remedied by shaping it by hand in that the frame is very stiff and you can actually bend it if you are careful. This is commonly known as blocking a hat. Not a big complaint. Otherwise, the size was correct.

I ordered a size smaller than what I really needed but I still LOVE my hat. I've loved tophats since I was little and, now that I'm an adult, I can finally get one! LOL Took abit to get here but, all in all, totally worth the wait!

arrived in damaged box with brim crushed/bent out of shape. I was able to fix it by steaming the hat and blocking it without much trouble but arrived damaged appears to be a common issue. unless you are ready to fix it better not buy this hat. otherwise as expected good quality for price and sized true though for my head too round so I stretched/blocked/padded to fit

Hat came as described. It was 57cm and I needed 57.5. I wet the brim and headband area and was able to stretch it to fit. I also reshaped the brim a little for a look that I like better.I'm happy with the purchase and I think it was well worth the price.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It is very sturdy and comfortable and looks great. It come with 2 strips to adjust the size if needed.The hat was packaged extremely well. It was in a plastic bag which was inside another plastic bag that was filled with air so it was basically inside a bubble. All that was inside a double layered cardboard box. I was worried that it would arrive crushed but it would take some extreme pressure to crush that box.

High quality, original style top hat. Perfectly balanced and great for hat juggling! There is an outer band great for tucking cards or feathers etc. Small hidden area inside large enough to hide paper money. These will be the only hats used in our circus, and a hat on every head! Buy one now before they sell out!

Hat fits a bit large but you can use a filler under the band.
