A great sounding USB condenser mic, spoiled by the kit it comes with.
The media could not be loaded. First thoughts:In my opinion somebody wasn’t paying attention when the design decisions were made here. I have to say that the mic is actually very good and the quality is not far off that of my XLR condenser mic. The issue is a massive mistake with what they are describing as a “Shock Cradle”.Rather than a cradle that suspends the mic with elastic (or similar) to dampen any vibration that would otherwise reach the mic through the swing arm, the mic is seated on a small dense felt ring that is still connected directly to the arm.The result? Any part of the arm that moves, is touched or is in contact with it sends the vibrations directly to the mic and it ends up on the audio track (see the video of my audio test).Detail and things to note (See pictures and video):USB condenser mic that can be plugged directly into a PC. No 48v Phantom Power supply, mixer or audio interface is required for this mic to operate.Cardioid pattern pickup so you need to get up close and keep the branding on the mic pointed towards you. Good sound suppression from other directions. There’s no Pop foam included in the kit as it’s already on the mic on the inside of the mesh cage. I found this odd but it didn’t damage the quality of the audio capture.Large Pop filter supplied which is of good quality and works well. The connecting arm has good rigidity so I could get it to hold position quite easily. The USB-A end didn’t sit tightly into the base of the mic which would slide out when any tension was put on the wire or when the swing arm was moved. I solved this by taking up the slack with cable ties (no cable straps are supplied with this kit). The desk clamp is a thick one so it’s not flimsy like some of the more basic kits. I do wish they would make the swing arm rod that fits into the clamp a bit thicker and stronger to prevent it from leaning under the weight of the assembly.Final thoughts:The body of the condenser mic is quite large in comparison to my other mics, so in order to use this I need to find a proper shock cradle that’s large enough to hold it. I’m not happy about that but I have other equipment to make it all work. If you’re buying this as your first then you might get away with it depending on how fussy you are about your sound quality. For me, the cleaner the audio that goes in is less time in post-production clean-up.This is a tough one, I’d definitely recommend the mic if you have a spare shock cradle but if you’re looking for your first intermediate condenser mic kit, then the design of the supporting accessories for this one is flawed unfortunately. The above average rating I’m giving this is based solely on the performance of the mic in this kit.

Technically good
Basically, I rate this product as good. The microphone and filter part are of very good quality. And easy to use. Ergonomic, good to work with.It is technically okay.I work with a laptop and I liked that the stand could be attached to the table simply and easily. However, there is a small problem here. The stand is made of metal and has a spring. Which makes a sound during use. This does not favor the sound recording. So you gave a good quality product with an almost unusable support stand. The solution:1.) Recording, do not move the tripod during use. This avoids the infiltration of unpleasant sound.2.) Use the tripod only when there is no recording. So we just store the microphone on it.Regardless, I recommend the product. Because it is very easy and simple to use. Using USB almost anywhere and anytime we can record or use.I hope you find my pictures and review helpful :)

Good enough microphone, shame about the rest of it.
Zingyou microphone bundle.Good enough microphone, shame about the rest of it.The microphone is quite good. It is nice and responsive and has good audio quality. The mounting for the arm does not isolate the mic from any noise from the arm. Any touch or movement of the arm can be heard through the microphone. The pop filter is OK, but the mounting system is completely useless – it broke when being tightened up.All in all, a good microphone but the rest of the kit is poor.

Great gaming microphone
My son uses this microphone kit for gaming. He found it easy to set up on his desk. He also said the sound quality was great for gaming and no one had any problems hearing him in the game.It arrived well packaged so would be suitable as a gift. The build quality is excellent so I've got no issues there whatsoever. Overall its a great buy for the price.

Professional quality microphone
I have recently started a podcast with a couple of my friends and decided to get this microphone as I always felt that the mic on my laptop does not pick-up my voice properly and I sound like a different person when I hear back on the recordings. This seemed like a good starter microphone and it was really easy to setup. I didn't realise that this was for professionals when I ordered it so I will keep my review in line with my usage as I couldn't use it in the same way a professional would.I just connected it to my laptop through USB. It is sort of plug and play and as soon as I plugged it in, it was detected by Windows and the driver was installed. It came with a stand so that I could place it properly on my desk. I felt that it was missing the gain controls on the mic as I feel that those are much easier and handy compared to software based controls but I was able to adjust the gain using a simple app in windows (not included with this product) which made the process a bit more easy.Build quality seems quite good and it looks really professional. I have also tried to use it with my skype office calls and my colleagues were really surprised to notice the change in my voice and they said that it felt more like I was with them.ProsGreat build qualityReally sturdyExcellent recorded sound qualityEasy to setupComes with a standConsDoes not have a physical gain control buttonOverall, I feel it is a really high quality microphone at a really good price. If you are an audiophile or need a studio quality microphone, then you cant go wrong with this one. 5 stars
