Could be better but works
It works for it's purpose but it could be a lot better.I have one bunny and we go thru this very quickly. It's absorbent but not as well as it could be. I have to use a good bit to keep urine from the bottom of his litter box, and I change it daily. It would be nice for it to be more absorbent so I could go to changing it every other day. Just so the product would last longer.There is no odor control in this product. So when you change it out there is still that strong ammonia smell. I think this is one of the turn offs from people having bunnies as pets so if you could add in odor control it would make a huge difference.

Good odor control but maybe not for rats.
This bedding, first of all, is really oder absorbent! Even when I smell my rats litter pan directly, I can barely smell poop. I’ve heard from other rat parents that this betting isn’t As dust free as it says it is. I started my rats off with this bedding so I’m not sure that this is the cause, but some of them have been having snot around their noses and sneezing a bit. I recommend purchasing yesterday‘s news dust free cat litter instead, because that is more dust free than this, therefore it is safer for your rats. I may come back to this after I’ve tried yesterday‘s news for a while. One complaint I have for this letter is my watts always push it out of the litter box. It makes a big mess all over the cage. Last awhile, good value and safe for the mice
Using this for my mouse tank. They absolutely love this stuff and pile it up to make burrows. I feel good knowing that it wont spinter and harm them. It also absorns the urine quite well. The smell not so well on but i cant fault them for that. Also the way it is packed in, means that it actually expands into alot. With my 10 gallon tank it lasted about a month. With me changing it once a week.

Love paper bedding
We have come to prefer the paper bedding over the wood shavings. It keeps odors at bay

Didnt expand as much as I'd like but is super throughly great well made product.
