Best Price We Could Find :) Love the Amazon Prime App!
We are a Lego family. I have 4 kids, ages 6 to 13. We buy a lot of sets. We were at the Seattle Space Needle and my kids wanted to buy this at the gift shop SO bad! It was $36.99. I scanned the barcode and saw it as $19.49 on Prime. I ordered it and it came two days later to the door for a way cheaper price! My kids were elated. It was a win for both of us. Lego Architecture runs more expensive than other sets. It doesn't have many pieces and is not complicated to assemble. There are three pieces that need to be cut with scissors, but my 6 year old had no problem following the instructions. The set is recommended for 10+. My kids love to have all their Lego people visit the Space Needle!

A great piece of art
I didn't buy this as a toy. I purchased this because I have lived in Seattle for most of my life and I wanted a Space Needle piece to keep on the bookshelf. When I was younger, building a Space Needle out of 1970s Lego sets was impossible. This set made it possible. The book is eduational covering facts about the landmark. It still looks like Legos but I have seen other representions of the monument that looked worse and cost more to own. My Grandfather had the tacky Jim Beam burbon decanter of the Space Needle in his den for many years. This is much better than that.

Seattle Space Needle Set
This was poor quality. It did not click together well at the bottom base or the top. I did not realize there were only 57 pieces in the set. It was an exorbitant price for that quality and quantity at $250. It was a disappointing birthday gift for my grandson who is a Lego fan.

A good set for Architecture series collectors
This is a nice set and good if you like to collect the Architecture sets. I wouldn't recommend this set for people who just want some Lego, its not that kind of set and you'll be disappointed. The price is a little high for the number of pieces so am knocking off a star for that, should probably be in the $15 to $20 range max.It provides a good rendition of the Seattle Space Needle and it looks good on a shelf with a few of the other Architecture series! Glad to have it in my collection.

Love the series!
My 8-year old son has the whole Architecture LEGO series. He really enjoys buliding all different LEGO sets and the Architecture is his latest. We have every single set of this series (he is currently working on the Robie House), but he has all of them dispayed on shevles in his room. These sets have not been all that challengng for him as we thought they'd be since they are mostly geared toward the 10/12+ crowd, but each set comes with wonderful instructions and a book explaining the history of the building and he really enjoys looking at the boxes, book and his finished products! We are waiting for the release of Big Ben in June of 2012! I think that this is a great way to get kids to learn about some history while having fun building LEGO's...and our 130 lb. Rottie has got his teeth on a few LEGO pieces that have found their way to the floor and they are still in great condition and able to be used - glad the product is durable, especially for the cost!

Seattle Space Needle
This product is very cost effective and amazing as looks go. Having been to the actual building, I can say its very accurate to the real thing. I enjoyed assembling it and displaying it. It's not to play around with, rather to plop on a desk and bathe in its beauty, like my other review for the opera house (below). It's great for 13+ but younger it'll be seen as boring.LEGO Sydney Opera House

This product was purchased as a Christmas gift for my grandson. He immediately opened the box and began putting it together which took him very little time. Some of the pieces appeared to be very small and oddly shaped (not like I remember Lego to be) but he absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend it for older children who love Lego.

Cool design, but underwhelming for the price
I’m from Seattle and I love architecture so this was right up my alley. The design is very clever and artistically representative of the real thing, however the final assembly is less than 12” tall and made of very lightweight plastic (even for LEGO). For nearly $140, I was expecting metallic-based ABS parts, or at least a more significant model. I guarantee the cost of the packaging and the ABS plastic that LEGO spends to make these units is less than $5 each. Unfortunately, this product does not justify a 2800% mark-up, regardless of how creative it is.
