Love this ointment but the tubes I received have a slight plastic smell to it during application.

Yep, 96%, that's more petroleum jelly than vaseline. I first saw this advertised as being good for undereye circles, I also get badly chapped lips so I thought this would be an inexpensive solution to both. It doesn't do anything vaseline wouldn't do. For a much more effective alternative make your own all natural vaseline and add papaya oil (paw paw.) This would also be a great replacement for Neosporin.

I do not usually review anything, so for me to go out of my way really says something. I do not remember the last time I was this excited about a product. This gives you the softest lips, any sort of insect bite that itches is no longer a problem after i apply a thin layer of this on it. I live in the south so we have a problem with chiggers, well the bites do not bother me anymore after applying this stuff, before the welt would itch and not heal for at least a month, i think this got rid of the problem within a week. It also helps heal scratches and cracks. I am in love, and i have literally bought one for almost everyone in my family.

Papaw was introduced to me by a friend who is originally from Australia and she swears by it. So having my first child and afraid to use products like destin or buttpaste...I gave Papaw a shot due to it being an all natural product and I will never use anything else. It is truly a one in all product. I used it on my LO for the first time when he was 4mon old and literally the next day his rash was gone!
