Sonos One (Gen 2) - Voice Controlled Smart Speaker with Built-in White, ONEG2UK1, Wi-Fi

Takes a couple minutes to set up. I paired two One, 2nd Gen with the Beam. Surround sounds works on TV, only ambient sound however, decent quality. Music is full volume.

Talk about premium product quality and finish. Only thing that beats the build quality is the sound!! I don't know why people kept saying it's hard to install I found it super easy and straight forward. Love this product

The sound is incredible, we use one in each room, and have surround sound in lounge room with the sound bar.

First thing I have to mention is the quality of sound it produces. But ended up with return.coz of bluetooth and portability. Pros Amazing Sound quality Cute design Small in size Intelligent Voice command Cons. No bluetooth No battery power. Only work with power. Only LAN port, no other ports available

Product quality and packaging is very good, it all feels solid and well put together. Understated design blends easily into most interiors. Simple to use controls on the work fine. Sound quality is fine for a speaker of this size, and easily fill a living or bed room. Now the not so good; I'm using a pair in a stereo setting and find the sound field extremely focused. Sitting just a little out of the middle makes you want to adjust the balance to hear both sides again. While the app let's you adjust balance, its buried so deep that it becomes annoying to do. An even bigger gripe is the lack of voice control... yes Sonos will sell you the speaker with the microphone but then doesn't support voice control due to "regional limitations". Come on Sonos, Google gives me the voice assistant here, you could at least support that level of integration. I'm not asking for local language support, just English would be fine. An email exchange with the Sonos helpdesk is less than useless, they just point you to the list of supported countries on the website. No mention of limited regional support on the box!! The final nail in the coffin is the lack of support for the automatic equalizer on Android. Sonos has some story about too much platform variation but they could at least support it on global high runners like Samsung. Overall dissatisfied, should have gone with Google instead.

I was thinking to get additional echo for multi-room music playback and saw this speaker, it seems to promise better music playback experience so I gave it a try. With that in mind I bought two of them and made a stereo pair. What I love about this speaker: - Easy to setup via the iPhone app - Great improvement on music playback, definitely much better than echo / echo dot - Features that allows you to adjust the base/treble, tuning for Trueplay - Flexibility to add on other Sonos products, in fact I bought a Beam and Sub Gen 3 after trying this speaker - Airplay / Sonos streaming that can be recognised by Roon What I didn't expect: - Multi-room playback cannot work with echo, basically they are two different system This was not my initial purpose but the music experience changed my mind and I decided to keep this and build the Sonos system for living room, no regret on that.

I started with just one of these speakers. First thoughts its easy to set up. App is reliable, makes it super easy to play music. I then brought a second to create a stereo pair... that was the WOW factor. It completely changes the listening experience. The audio sounds so much richer. I was shocked on how much it changed the music I was playing and now there's two we havent actually gone above 50% volume 🤭 because its so loud. We was so impressed we brought a third for the bedroom. Now I can play music everywhere while I'm wondering around and doing the house work! My issues with these speakers... all three of them in fact. ALEXA just seems to have bugs on Sonos. 1st. If your broadband drops, well Alexa will refuse to reconnect, she just constantly says something along the lines "i'm struggling to connect at the moment, please check your Internet connection". The weird thing is the Sonos side works fine and reconnects fine after a drop. E.g. I can play music via the app. You are forced to restart all the speaker everytime the internet drops to rekick in the Alexa integration. 2nd. Some features are limited compared to Amazons own devices. E.g. Alexa cant phone people. You can't connect any multirooms with Amazons own alexa devices. 3rd. Alexa just randomly does not play music when you ask her to. "Alexa, play music from Harry's Spotify account" and then she just stops... Check the Alexa app... and she heard me perfectly and understood (you can see your speech against text on how alexa understood what you asked). Although we have now got to a point where we just don't use Alexa, which isn't a big deal for us but might be for others. All said, Generally Sonos is a fantastic eco system and Sonos Ones don't fall short from what you should expect from the brand.

كنت محتار بين هذا الإصدار و إيكيا symfonisk لربطها مع سونوس بيم جودة البناء و والميكرفون والتفوق البسيط للصوت كان لصالح هذا الإصدار مع أن السعر يصل إلى الضعف إلا أن وكيل إيكيا هنا لم يطل الحيرة بسبب السعر الي كان مقارب لإصدار one علاوة على عدم توفر الإصدار الجديد تطبيق سونوس يتيح ربط مكبرات الصوت مع خيار مستقل لكل مصدر حسب توزيع السماعات وموقع السماعة تم ربطها مع سونوس بيم وكانت تجربة صوتية مثالية مؤخرا تم تحديث التطبيق وأضافت سونوس التحكم الصوتي لتشغيل الموسيقى عن طريق الأوامر الصوتية واستجابة التحكم سريعة سعر جيد مقابل الأداء اجمالا اعتبرها تجربة رائعة

I bought this because I wanted a speaker that could handle Airplay2 - something that’s relatively rare among speakers. I’ve never known any device so easy and intuitive to set up. Download the app and it pretty much does the rest for you, even joining the WiFi without having to type in your wireless key. I was up and rolling in five minutes. I’m blown away by the volume and sound quality of such a small speaker. Its integration with Airplay is seamless, and while I wasn’t really keen on getting an Alexa speaker I am very pleased with how it responds - particularly playing radio stations. I think the price is steep compared to other speakers in its market but overall given it does absolutely everything I need it to and flawlessly so, I’m happy.
