This bumper will change the look of your JK!!
Very Nice Bumper. Taking off the original bumper was far more complicated than putting this one on. This was a breeze to install and a one-man operation. You do not need to buy the wiring harness extensions. Just unwrap the loom a bit, pull out additional wire, rewrap and it's more than enough to reach the extended distance of the Fog lights. This bumper came extremely well packaged, not a scratch on it. Here are some tips. The original nuts did not go on this bumper, so you must use the hardware that it came with. Also, the original bumper came with solid Steel backer plates that I reused on the new bumper just for added support and strength ,Which is good quality. You'll see what I'm talking about when you remove the old bumper. 18mm socket with extensions and swivel are what i used to remove the old bumper inner nuts However Nothing out of the ordinary is needed to install the new one. You also need electrical tape And black Zip ties. Don't worry about the front bumper vacume pump, It doesn't interfere with installation. Lastly, I used corrosion X on all exposed surfaces and bolts. Just for added protection. One othe tip for the fog light install. Pay attention to how they come off your old bumper, because there is an orientation to them. And I've heard people have had problems with trying to replace the bolts to secure the original fog lights to the new bumper. The trick is to install the bolt from the front so the nut and lock washer can easily be replaced and finger tight from the top. Then Apply pressure from the back with your finger, and use a Nut driver to tighten. It catches, and you can tighten it down very easily, total time to install the fog lights on new bumper good and tight, 5 minutes With 8 bolts.

Great bumper, very strong and built solid
Great bumper, very strong and built solid. Fits perfectly and very easy to install, minor adjustments must be done such as the wires for the fog lights must be about 10 inches longer the factory ones so that the new place for the fog lights can be reached. After the installation it looks great I love the new alignment of the fog lights along with the signal lights and head lights, really makes your Jeep stand out from the crowd. My biggest point here is the solid metal built, much better than the stock bumper that are constructed mainly from plastic. It was a great addition to my Jeep very happy with it.

Great bumper if they make it to you not all ...
Great bumper if they make it to you not all scratched up. I have bought over ten of these and still had to fix one. The bumper corners and to pointy and with the weight of the bumper its no match for several layers of cardboard. As far as the bumper is concerned it is a great bumper for the money.

Terrific value! Straight-forward install.
The media could not be loaded. Compared to just about any other "name brand" bumper, I'm not sure you can beat the value. The reviews expressing concerns over the power coat are accurate. One corner of the bumper came scuffed despite the excellent packaging. Which only goes to the point others have made that the power coat is too thin.Install difficulty is low, but you'll spend 80% of your time removing the stock bumper and 20% installing this one. Also, I reused the back plates from the stock bumper. Installing the winch was easy and I used the light mount positions for mounting my high lift jack instead.A few install tips.1. Saturate the stock bumper bolts with PB Breaker Oil. Your hands will smell terrible for a few days, but the nuts will come off (a little) easier.2. My 2007 JKU need the fog lamp cable extended on the driver side. I didn't order extensions because another reviewer said they were not needed. Perhaps this is true on 2012-2017 models. I grabbed some spare wire, splices and made my own extension.3. The finger gymnastics required to get the screws in place for the fog lamps are laughable. Lets just say, my wife isn't complaining about my skills but they were lacking for this install. After only securing two screws (and not fully tight) I gave up and went with zip-tying all four hole positions. Easy, fast and secure. I also used zip-ties to secure the cable harness to the bumper and keep it out of the way.Total install time including Winch and High Lift was 4 hours.

Good for the price
Ok, if your looking for a heavy duty off road bumper, go spend the money on a big heavy bumper. If you want a bumper that looks great and is very light, than this is it. I don't do hard off-roading, this is my daily driver, so I looked around for a bumper that looked good, gave me front tow hooks, and wasn't extremely heavy. This bumper is about 80 lbs without a winch and I installed myself in about an hour. Hardest part being the fog lights. The lights in the bumper aren't to bad but one side is hard to get your hands into. I had the wife help. I did add lights on the bar and there are holes on the bumper for the wires but they are not very big so I drilled them out. It took a bit to run the wires down thru but was able to get them thru.At this time I don't have a winch but would like to add one but for now the bumper looks great.

Terrible quality - dissapointed
Well, it looked real nice in the picture but the product I received had terrible welds (dangerous if you.plan to winch), the winch plate was only held on with 6 1/2 in spot welds. The ends of the bumper that were welded on to make it a mid width bumper were done wrong. You can see a dip in the material where they tried to join the two pieces together.I learned my lesson on this. Don't go cheap no matter how enticing it seems.

Great bumper, easy install, perfectly lined up
Easy to install, holes lined up perfectly. We had ordered another bumper previously that did not fit so the Jeep was dismantled in the driveway so Prime was a huge help with this bumper. We mounted two trail lights to the holes on top and a winch. It looks great. Everything went smoothly with this bumper. It’s sturdy and stout.Update:We put this bumper through hell on some mega trails, deep pits, rocks, etc. it held up great. I can’t find any damage on it and I know it took some hard hits. It looked great doing it.
