I have an LLbean backpack that had its buckle chewed on by my friend’s cat 🐱Luckily I was able to use these to replace the eaten buckle and it’s good as new! Sure it doesn’t match the other buckles exactly, but it still works!

This two-inch belt buckle set comes standard on many of the polyester & nylon weightlifting belts that are manufactured in China these days. The reason why this particular make & model of buckle is preferred is because it is slightly contoured to fit close to the midsection, and all four corners of the buckle have been well rounded for comfort and safety. This is to minimize the pinching of the belly when the athlete is in the bent-over position.Once upon a time, lifting belts were sold in most major sporting goods stores, where folks could easily try them on. Now we have to attempt to order them online, without the benefit of being able to try them on for size - boy - what a trainwreck!Lifting belts do NOT fit the same size as a belt worn with trousers or jeans. Additionally, many people find that they fall in-between two sizes. Finally, many weight-trained athletes measurements change from time to time, which is why it makes sense to own two different sizes of belts.

I have great luggage that I absolutely love.But the 2 inside straps which hold the clothes both became useless when their plastic buckle broke (flimsy plastic).The straps are 1” wide.These replacement buckles are very high quality and I replaced the broken buckles with these.Now I have my favorite luggage which is absolutely perfect again.Great purchase!!

I bought a used backpack that was missing buckles.Got these as a replacement and they work just as well as the originals and are compatible. Decently priced and easy to install.

Very hard to open in a pinch without having to focus to try to open that thing. I modded mine (see pictures) by removing the internal support of the outside pins with a blade (mod A). I got it pretty close to the feeling of the ones I am trying to replace. I also did another slight mod (mod B) to get that extra smooth feeling, by cutting a chamfer with a knife on the outside edge of the outside pins. Now they behave like the ones I am replacing.
