For UAE SIM Usage
I am currently using it with Virgin Home Internetn in UAE.My mobile detects 4G+ speed, but the Modem doesn't. At times it detects 4G+ speed. It gives me more than 12 Mbps speed, even without the 4G signal. It can cover only one bedroom flats, with two bedroom you need an extender.

Speed is same like my iphone
I would like to give you some information .Speed at night is 40mbps . Constant inside room which is not enough as I get same in my iphone .Speed at day varies from 4 mbps to 15 mbps . I don't know why at same place it's not constant .If this router gives me around 60mbps speed constant . Then it would be better . I would consider this router . But for now I am returning it . Thanks to Amazon return policy .Also I would like to Tell in my iqoo 7 I get similar kind of speed then what's the point of this router .I think 9k for this router is too much . 4 to 5K would be better .I would give 9k for this router if it provided around 90 mbps speed . then it would be better .Note : I also tried this router speed outside also but remains same .I would recommend this router to those who don't even have local isp broadband connection near their home .I only get these speed on Vi sim . Jio not giving more than 8mbps and Airtel 6mbps.I can keep this router if speed comes more than 100 mbps . That's the only possible scenario.

Terrible Product, Do not recommend
TL;DR, This is a terrible, terrible product. Stay away.I bought 2 of these and a gigabit loadbalancer to setup faster internet at my home, Now within 10 days, I have returned both of these routers. This router has multiple issues in it's hardware and software.Pros,1. Easy to install2. You can get 20-50mbit speeds if your ISP supports Band 3 + 40 or 5+40 and you get good speeds on these bands in this config.Cons:1. QoS on this router is a complete joke. They are not doing QoS at all, What they are doing is asking you to enter expected amount of bandwidth and then reserving a percentage of that bandwidth for high/med/low priority users. This is not QoS and since it's a LTE router that you'll be using with a SIM card, You will probably never know the _expected_ speed you'll get at any given point in time. If you enter a higher or lower value than your actual speed, that crops up more issues.2. IP/MAC Binding or DHCP IP reservation does not works. The DHCP server is unaffected by IP/MAC binding or DHCP IP reservation settings.3. CPU in this thing is extremely weak. At night, I was able to get 90-100mbit speed in 3+40 config but if I enable Traffic monitor or QoS or any of the _advanced_ features on this device, The bandwidth drops significantly probably because the CPU can't keep up with the traffic and keeping all those features active at the same time.4. The web UI in this is horrible and has a lot of bugs in Firefox/Safari.5. The RSSP/RSSQ/SNR values in Advanced->status are refreshed very infrequently and there is no auto refresh in this page. If you are on a roof trying to adjust the antenna so you can get best signal, Doing that with this router is very problematic and takes a lot of time, simply because you aren't getting the updated values fast enough and there is no auto refresh.6. The LTE modem or which ever other bit is responsible for signal reception is extremely flaky. At one point, You could be getting what I would consider extremely good signals and in a second with no change in the router position or anything, the signal quality gets significantly worse and then gets back to where it was again. This just keeps happening with both of my routers.7. Setting your APN to use IPv4&IPv6 breaks IPv6 on this device. Some of my clients get IPv6 address, Some don't. Even the clients that do get a IPv6 address can't talk to any IPv6 enabled machine on the internet.8. Wifi coverage in this router is meh. Don't buy it with high expectations there.9. There is no support for Bridge Mode although there are hacks around it.10. The Antennas that come with the router are of poor quality. The plastic of antenna is not attached very well to female SMA connectors so after installing them on the router, the actual antenna still moves freely about +-30 degrees. Just the plastic antenna moves, The actual connection around female SMA port doesn't. This happens on both of routers. This is trouble some as it can effect LTE signal quality.11. Even though they say, It supports Carrier aggregation and Yes, It does. I have only been able to get CA to work on Band 1+3, 3+5, 3+40, 5+40. Using a old beta firmware from April, I was able to get these CA's working but nothing else works. There is no 40A-40A CA support on this router so careful about that.12. Router startup takes a lot of time i.e. Around 2-3 minutes.13. There has been no word on 40A-40A CA support on this device and it's developers have been silent on the issue annd the TP Link forums have not been very helpful.14. There is no way to save incoming messages to sim card or transfer them all to sim card in one command. If you want to preserve a copy of received messages, The only way is to forward them to another number, one by one. And the UI is so slow. Extremely annoying experience.Overall, I'd say avoid this device. Get a Huawei device if you don't have issues with made in china or a LTE device made by one of the companies in EU. Skip this. They _may_ fix these issues in V2 hardware version of this device but it's not like they'll replace this crappy V1 version of this device with V2. :/ Skip it, Get something else.

Powerful SIM 4g Router
It works like a charm, used OPTUS simcard and it does the job. It allows also to check and send SMS, what is a plus. Pity doesnt support 5G, but im using this for working daily plus playing PS4 online and so far really robust. Worth the money

Good for work from for remote areas
If you are doing work from home or need internet in remote area where LAN connection not available. Then this is the device which will be helpful.I purchased it because in my village only Jio signals are available and no LAN facility available. After using 10 moths I found this is working as expected, I can have meetings without interruption and able to perform my daily task without any internet issue. However don't expect very high speed like streaming HD vedios on android TV or having multiple devices connected with seamless internet connection.

MUST MUST READ BEFORE BUYING THIS 🙏इसे खरीदने से पहले अवश्य पढ़ें 🙏
Hello folks, if you're going to shell out your hard earned money on this SIM router, then please stop. As 5G has penetrated in India as well, therefore it won't support 5G. Also as new SIMs are already 5G activated from the beginning, so those also won't work. And if you upgrade this router with theri Beta update, then only Jio Sim 4G work (not 4G+). Other sim (Vodafone and Airtel) will stop working even if you again downgrade the software. I'm suffering due to this issue and my hard earned 8100Rs. Money has got burnt without any benefit.Therefore I request you to check this issue before making any purchase of this router, otherwise you'll regret like I'm.
