Perfect camping journal to help keep track of all the camping adventures you go on. The front and back covers are a very sturdy, thick cardboard. The pages are also on the thicker side so you won't have to worry about most pens bleeding through. The first page has writing prompts to help keep track of all the important details of your camping trip which include: Location, date of the trip, weather/temperature, Campground Name, phone number, reservations needed by, site #, ideal site # for possible return, comments, Campground offered, who I camped with, people I met, places I visited, what I enjoyed most, most memorable event, places to remember for next time (restaurants, special attractions, entertainment, etc.). On the back side you have plenty of space for a picture, journal writing, etc. The journal looked exactly as described in the picture.

I sent it back as there was wax all on the top sides of the cover and there was garbage stuff in between the coils. Very disappointed

Starting with quality, this journal looks and feels nice. Very Sturdy, nice binding, and the pages feel high quality. The categories given are great, and encourage you to look around the campsite (such as the section where you put which campsites you rented, and then a section for better sites for the next time you visit the same campground). I like that the backside of the page is just lined for notes. We usually make a list after each campout of gear that needs replaced, tips that we need to remember (take extra trash bags, etc) for the next campout. I only wish there were more pages per campout. You get one page front/back. We camp about 2 times per year, and while this journal could easily last the rest of my life, I'd rather have more room for each campout, with even more sections to fill out. Also, our family goes to the same campsite almost every time, as we meet at a central location for our families. This makes about half of the page redundant. Something to think about if you do the same. If you camp all over however, this would not be an issue.
