VanartHerbal Shampoo Classic 750ml

The scent is not disagreeable, but I have been searching for a shampoo that smells like the original Herbal Essence from the 1970s. From my reading, I thought that I may have found that scent. However, to my nose it's not really that close.

This was suggested as a dupe for my old, beloved Herbal Essence. Well, it's close, but no cigar. However, it is a nice shampoo that cleans and rinses well. It's just no Herbal Essence original. (sigh!)

I've been searching for the old 70's original Herbal Essence shampoo, and this was one that was listed as a match. It is okay, but has a weak herbal smell and is very "soapy" smelling. I also ordered Caprice shampoo from the same vendor. It comes much closer to that scent, and it feels good in my hair. I'll re-order the Caprice, but will let my sons have the Vanart shampoo.

The scent is good, but it doesn’t linger long like herbal essence. I would buy again

It did not smell like the original Herbal Essence Shampoo from the 70s which was heavenly.

I guess it smell kind of like Herbal Essence shampoo. Not the smell I remember.

I bought this as the scent is close to a fragrance I am familiar with. Very pleased with fragrance and the performance of this shampoo!

I read where someone said this smelled like the Clairol Herbal Essense made in the 70's. I tend to disagree. It has a slight herbal smell but does not make my hair smell wonderful like it did in the 70's. :(
