Simple and Easy
Simple idea for keeping those “straws” that allow you to direct oil/lubricants into tight spots (think garage door tracks) where they belong.

Why didn't I think of this?
What a great invention! I immediately lined up a bunch of my lubricant cans and set up the straw holder. I will never lose another straw again!

Really Handy
Just what the doctor ordered but these are a bit too expensive...??

Spray Wand Tracking Device
I bought some of these many moons ago to use at work on our benches. I've been looking for these at the automotive stores, but no one still had them. We had over 15 cans of cleaners and lubricants on our benches and need to keep the hoses. I sure don't remember the brand back then , but they came in different colors and were sold right at the checkout counter (oreillys). These are made from a silicone rubber and the few I still have are good after many, many years and exposed to chemicals. They will not let you down like that fancy 2 way spray thing on WD40. These sure beat a rubber band on a can (rubber bands deteriorate) ; just don't let people throw the empty can away without rescuing these straw savers. Only problem is they are still a little expensive for what they are. Maybe a 10 pack option (because you will want these on every can)? UPDATE: Well, a lot of new cans have do not have a rim at the top, just like in the picture, these will roll off. I have started putting 3 dabs of RTV glue at the top to prevent roll-off. Everyone has some RTV they have bought and is about to expire so any kind will do.

Breaks easily
It broke pretty easily when I stretched it to put it on a spray can.

No more lost spray "straws"!
These certainly seem to do the job of retaining the straw, and I like that the rubber bands are able to be moved from can to can as sprays become empty (vs other types of retainers, which get permanently adhered to a particular can). Hopefully, the rubber will last for a good long time and not become degraded by contact with the spray contents - only time will tell. The price does seem a little high for what the product is, but I am sure they will make up for that in decreased irritation, due to misplaced straws or those that shoot off of my more "energetic" spray cans and land in the dirt.

The only way I have found to keep those pesky straws from disappearing.
I have used these for years. They are convenient and work well.

Kinda dumb- kinda necessary
I use a spray lube and it has a very specific spray tube (straw) what ever you want to call it.If it gets lost- the 20 other straws I keep as backups don’t work with it, neither do the other nozzles. So I bought thisActually works quite well. I wonder if a piece of solid wire would work the same? Also what happens after this rubber thing is sitting in a hot shed for a while?Don’t know, I can only imagine it oozing off and stuck like glue to the side.In any case- if you need your straw where you need it- on/ near the can, not inside an engine or something. Give this a try. Help out the guy who invented it- or stole the design lol
