Steel Wall Mount Ceiling Bracket Stand for UB-20 Series II Compatible with All Bose CineMate Lifestyle

For the longest time I used generic speaker mounts and secured the speakers with double-sided tape. After they started falling down I decided it was finally time to switch to a custom solution. The original Bose mounts look very similar (online, never had them in my hands) and are way too expensive so I went with this "brand". Shipping was fast and the parts were nicely arranged in a blister pack. Instructions are not the best and I had to start over once but the second one installed in a few minutes. (Note: the silver screws in the picture are to hide the holes from the previous mount and are not part of this kit).I'm happy with the purchase and it feels like the mounts will hold up.

These are very sturdy brackets and worked well with my Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V surround speakers. My only concern was the instructions were not clear on how to align the brackets to the speaker wire hole. I got the first one wrong and had to do some re-work as opposed to re-drilling the 4 screw holes in the ceiling. Also, I'm a bit concerned about having 4 plastic drywall anchors so close together. This may weaken the drywall and fail at some point due to the weight of the speakers and brackets. A single toggle bolt and wing-nut style drywall anchor would be stronger and offer more speaker wire flexibility.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is trash, I have a bose system and both of the speakers fell off from the ceiling because the screws are not strong enough to hold speaker, plus it will not clip on the back of speaker.----------------- DO NOT BUY THIS, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY -----------------------Both of my bose speakers fell from the ceiling, both broken and this seller replied to me with silly solutions.I contacted the seller and the seller offered to send me a replacement, when I told them I didn't want a replacement they stopped replying.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, YOUR SPEAKERS WILL FALL, THIS DOES NOT SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THE BOTH SPEAKERS.

I ordered this by mistake as I usually go authentic Bose but I was glad that I did rather than waiting longer to install my last speaker. The fit and finish of this item is only visible from up close that it isn't Bose but everything hooked up perfectly. From a far you really can't tell the difference. All the parts were sealed and nearly the same as originals. Good buy if you are looking to save a few bucks on 5 mounts.

Good for the money, but it's difficult to install the speakers safely. They don't just snap into place like they do on the Bose stands, you have to give them a good wack with a mallet in order for them to get into place (experienced consistently across 5 different stands and speakers). Because of that it would be very easy to install these incorrectly and create a safety hazard (thus why I'm taking 2 stars off instead of 1 due to the fact that it could be a safety hazard).
