Works great!
My new Mac has USB-C connections on the back. I needed to connect a DVD reader/player directly to the computer, but it has a USB-A connection. I searched on Amazon and saw this adapter. Knowing that Anker makes quality, reliable products that last, I didn't hesitate to add this to my Anker arsenal. It didn't disappoint. I connected it and was able to access photo DVDs that someone had given to me. In addition to reliability, I also like the small footprint--it won't hinder connecting something else next to it.

Anker USB-C to USB Adapter
This worked perfectly for my needs. I am using to connect a wireless mouse on my MacBook that only has USB-C ports. It makes the USB dongle stick out further, but I can deal with it to use the wireless mouse. Wish they started making wireless mouse with either both types of dongles or ability to order one. Until I find one this will work for me and Anker is a brand I trust.

Saved the transition day...
This adapter USB A to C saved the day when tried to connect my old printer and favorite old keyboard to the new computer. Now the new rechargeable devices electronic or not are connected via USB C.... this adapter fits right in and no problems connecting or charging my old devices .

It's Anker! What can I say, anything from Anker is going to be solid and work well. I carry adaptors for every device I own and this is just one of many that I use. It's small, light and data transfers are fast.

Works well!
I'm a teacher and my school system recently upgraded our laptops. Our new laptops only have 1 USBa port and 3 USB c ports. Since I use a remote presentation clicker and a USB mouse/keyboard combo, I needed a way to use plug them in. These little adapters are nice and do exactly what I need.

This brand of electronic connectors is one of the two high quality options that are generally available. Although a bit more expensive than the significantly cheaper brands, they are worth their price. They work as advertised and rarely fail even over an extended length of time.

i bought this so that i could fast-charge my micro-usb devices using a usb-c charger, and it works great for that
