GOOD QUALITY & A GREAT DEAL
These bags work very well. They’re a little thicker than the more expensive bags I get at the grocery store, are less expensive, and they hold up well.

These work great!
I've been using these for a few years to line my stainless kitchen compost bin I bought on Amazon. Easy to tie them off and put my compostables in the city green bin for weekly pick up.

Great bags in a handy, compact dispenser
After years of using BioBag brand bags for my kitchen compost bin, I decided to give these a try. They perform just as well (not necessarily any better or different), but I really like that the same amount of bags come in a much smaller box -- and easily dispense from the top. The packaging is much more convenient for under sink storage. The bags hold-up inside my compost bin even as they fill-up with organic (including some wet) contents throughout the week. They sweat a lot, but so far I've yet to find a compostable bag that doesn't. Overall, I'll happily continue buying these as long as the price remains competitive.

Impressive compostable trash bags
I'm impressed with the strength of the bags. I use the 3 gallon bags to scoop cat litter into, along with various other uses. With cat litter being so dense, this is an impressive load to handle. There has been one occasion where the bag ripped while I was holding it, but on that occasion, I was holding the edge of a full bag by just a couple of fingers. The bag ripped where I was holding. It would be nice if the bags were a little bit thicker and therefore a little bit stronger, but I assume that that would come with an increase in price, so the current thickness and price are a happy medium. I'm sure the current thickness and strength are enough to handle the vast majority of situations. It would also be nice if the bags had a handle or way to tie at the top, but since I am only using the 3 gallon bags, I am not surprised that there is no such component. I am not sure if larger bags have handles or tie tabs.

Not bad but hard to separate
I only buy biodegradable trash bags and though I pick up the large trash bin sized bags at Meijer I have to get the smaller ones online. I use these in my fridge to hold food waste. So like if I peel an onion, I put what I don't use in this bag and keep it in the fridge until it's full and time to take the trash out. I don't create a lot of trash so it can take weeks to fill up an entire trash bin for me so I keep food waste in the fridge so I don't get a bad smell of rotting food in my kitchen. These bags work pretty good, however they dont separate very well. They have a perforated edge so you just rip them to separate, however mine always catches at the end like the perforation didn't get that far and I end up ripping it. I've used scissors a couple of times to avoid putting a hole in the trash bag which has happened a couple of times. Other than that though it's a good trash bag.

Excellent Bags
This item works great for our compostable garbage waste. You must allow some room at the top to tie it off so it doesn't spill out. Some moisture does leak out if the material is left in the bag for long periods.

Very helpful bag for composting
Update:It's been 16 months and I'm finally out of the 100 ct, three (3) gallon bags. Product description says to only order what you will use within 6 months. That is probably the safe bet. For price point, and how long these lasted me, I'll order another 100 ct box. Time to order! Nice the price dropped from $15.xx to $13.xx, too!----Update:15 months later and the bags, stored under my kitchen sink (vs. in the hit/cold garage) are still strong. You do need to take at them off carefully. I'm nearly out so I'll be ordering these again soon.____My city in California requires composting now or rather they finally offer it. My complaint is that I get charged extra for it but I'm glad they're doing it.The city provided a little 3 gallon composting pail and 10 starter bags made by Bio Bag. Those bags are roughly twice the price of these Unni bags. And these bags satisfy conditions for use in San Francisco, CA. So I'm sure they satisfy the requirements of your region.I'm glad to have purchased 100 ct. I can tie them up and dump them more regularly. The box or packaging reads buy only what you can use in 6 months. Makes sense, they're intended to decompose. 😂Others reported the bags don't tear off the roll very well. Doesn't surprise me that quality control is spotty. So far, out of the 8-10 I've used so far, they tear off nicely and hold up well. Very glad for this option.
