The overhang requirement for a Pioneer S shaped tonearm is 49mm. This head shell with cartridge requires the cartridge to be as far back as possible to obtain the overhang. See photo and allows no room for cartridge alignment. Secondly, he weight on the tonearm needs to be so forward to balance the arm that the weight covers the mark on the arm.
