Just brilliant

I read some reviews about how this coffee maker is difficult to clean without a special tool, so I was hesitant to purchase it. I'm glad I didn't listen to those reviews because the "special tool" that those people are referring to is just a standard bottle or glass scrubber (picture attached). Since I own one of these scrubbers already, you know - so I can clean cups, glasses, mugs, etc. properly, this was no issue for me.As for the coffee maker itself, it works great. I would suggest you put in an actual coffee filter in the permanent filter however, as a lot of coffee grinds will get through if you don't, depending on how fine your grinds are.The cork is a nice touch to prevent your hands from getting burned.I use this every morning and have been since I purchased it 3 months ago. Would recommend.

We went for a pour over one this time due to the difference in taste. We love it over our old french press. It’s great for us in terms of space (it can be stored away) and not take up valuable counter space.One tip I would avoid drinking the last part of the coffee as it does have some small parts of coffee that get through, this is due to the filter. It’s a small thing for me but could annoy purists.

Habe sie im April 2019 gekauft,Beim üblichen Gebrauch ist mir die Kanne, als ich sie zum Tisch tragen wollte, in der Hand geplatzt, wobei sich heißer Kaffee auf meinen Körper goss und ich zum Notarzt musste.Ich liege nun seit einer Woche krankgeschrieben zuhause und versuche die Kanne ersetzt zu bekommen.Wenn dies der Normalfall ist, dann ist die Kanne nicht zu empfehlen!!

We have used a cafetiere for many, many years and grind our own beans. The mesh filter on the cafetiere did a good job but we always had a sludge in the bottom of the cup.We needed a new cafetiere and were recommended to try this filter coffee maker. This was the best advice ever and the difference in quality of taste is unbelievable.This maker is stylist and functional. Easy to use and clean.If you are new to this type of maker I would recommend looking at YouTube for tips and ideas (We did). do not forget to get the filters (we get ours from Whittards).

Very nice item, the filter is made of stainless steel. We have been using it for couple of months, making coffee at least once a day and the filter basket is still clean with no sediment or colour. I like that I could stop using paper filters which completely changed the flavour of the coffee. I liked it so much that I bought it again as a gift.
