Love It! :)
I am so glad I bought this with rechargeable batteries! It lasted quite a long time, I was surprised. I can hear conversations so much better and the TV, it's a must-have item. Most of the time my setting is on number 2 or 3 out of 5. I usually have my phone on speaker because it's the only way I can hear on the phone. But, I put the amplifier next to my phone and I can hear everything much better. I would recommend this item to anyone with hearing loss. I have eczema on both my ears that made it too hard to use normal hearing aids. I also am allergic to Nichol which most hearing aids have except for the ones that just fit in the ear canal and not over the ear. But I couldn't wear those either because of eczema. I can wear this amplifier but I'm going to buy a different headset as this one is too tight on my ears because of eczema. It does take getting used to the amplifier hanging around you. So, even with the problems I have this amplifier has been the best option for me!

Feedback Problems
I've had mine 7 months. It was a big help with TV watching. However at 5 months, I started getting really loud feedback. All the recommended solutions have failed. I haven't had the time to call in to the help center. That being said it generally worked well. A little finicky to adjust at the low settings but I would recommend it.

Two Versions
There are rwo versions of this product, one has rechargeable batteries and the other uses standard alkaline batteries. I purchased the rechargeable battery version. The first unit would not charge the batteries completely. It was returned. The second works OK, but the charging port is designed poorly and I suspect charging issues in the future. Fortunately the rechargeable battery version can also use standard batteries (there is a switch to select battery type). My only other observation is that the device would be much more useful if the tone could be adjusted to bias amplification for various sound frequencies.
