Voice quality superb

I received these a few days ago, I'll update if anything goes wrong (those reviews actually help imo). *edited 15 days later, 22 days after purchase*My first headset, so nothing to compare it to. I play on Xbox1 and the only function I don't currently use is the lighting system, which works and looks cool. Definitely an amazing price for what you get (family thought I spent well over $75 for them). *Xbox1 Pro Controller has a headphone jack, otherwise you need an adapter*Surround sound and good mic quality; it's not a long extension on the mic so you won't breathe into it or hear controller clicking. No mic noise nor muffled or quiet sound quality.*Update: The connection near the sound control box is coming loose, sometimes audio only comes out of the left side if not squished back in.* Otherwise, nice build quality (they aren't built to be twisted and thrown, if you're looking for durability); they feel well made and look sharp. The fit is nice and the muffs are comfortable. The connection cord is pretty long, can't be ripped out.

UPDATE: After my first review, I want to say that Version TECH has great customer service. They reached out to me and set my boys up with new head sets. These have worked GREAT! They love them and so do their friends. Just to touch on Version TECH' s coustomer service one last time. They really wanted me to be satified with their product. My schedule was really busy at that time, and there were some technical issues with my emails reaching them through Amazon. They continued to reach out to me till they knew I was satisfied. You don't se this service with many online business. Thank you!I bought 2 pair of these for my boys for Christmas and the sound was great. Unfortunately, it was not even a month and both pair stopped working. We even had the wiring fixed in one and something else went wrong.

Okay so the reviews and faqs on this product are very confusing and misleading, hopefully I can set some things straight. I bought this for my ps4. It does not need an adapter. It is as simple as plugging the cord into the headphone jack in the controller. The usb cord is only for the LEDs and is not needed to power the headphones. It is mostly for computer because in order to use it with the PlayStation you would have to be sitting 1 inch away from the console. For the people who said you need an adapter, you do not. Those people Probabily did not adjust their ps4 audio and device settings. You need to make sure you set primary audio to the headset and in devices, change the settings to all audio or else it will only be the Mic.So, on quality... When I got the box I was skeptical, the writing is in Asian characters so I was afraid that I might have bought a piece of junk from china, however, that is not the case. The quality is amazing, the surround sound can be compared almost to a turtle beach. The Mic is extremely clear and easily picks up sound. The headphones are cushioned and very comfortable. And like I mentioned before, it only needs one simple cord, in comparison with the turtle beach which has like 5 long cords that get tangled and in the way.I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants a good quality head set for a cheap price

Breaks easily. It works fine on all consiles(used on PS 4, xbox1 and pc, but you need a usb outlet for it to light up, game controls do not have a USB port for the light up function

I bought a set of headphones just prior to these and was very disappointed and leery about purchasing another set.I needed them though so decided to give it another chance.I was so pleasantly surprised by these headphones. Plugged them in and they cranked right up. Now on most headsets I had to turn up the volume to max just to be able to hear but 3/4 is all I need with these on most apps I use. The mic works really well although I am used to one that is flexible,This one rotates up to be out of the way and my friends say my voice is crystal clear.. They are big but very comfortable and reasonably priced. I use them for gaming on the ps4 and highly recommend them.
