does this fit in other diffusers?

In my experience, the comfort zone multicat refills fit in the comfort zone diffusers but wouldn't think it would fit elsewhere, like Yankee Candle diffusers are shaped differently and snap in unlike the comfort zone refills, they turn to tighten. I've had a diffuser for several years that I recently resurrected and it still fit the refills. Hope that helps.

Will the 6 pack fit my old diffusers? I know they came out with new diffusers Jan. 1, 2016, and I assume new refill shape?

When Multicast first came out last summer you had to buy new diffusers. A lot of people had issues with the mew diffusers so they stopped production. Finally they put it back on the market using the old ones. A great product!

Is there a recommendation for how many square feet each diffuser covers?

I use two on the main floor..about 20 feet apart . I can tell when one is empty.. My male cat starts whining!

How is this different from the original Comfort Zone formula?

The two formulas contain different types of pheromones. The multi cat is the pheromone that mother cats emit for their kittens. The scratching one is the pheromone that cats leave behind when they rub on something.
