Suitable for Desert Sand...
Always have it in my car as a recovery tool for off-roading trips and such.Lightweight Aluminum, collapsible, and the shovel shape is suitable for soft desert sand.Although, doesn't feel solid so I wouldn't recommend for other surfaces (mud, rocks, etc.).
