Well the main thing is to leave this to record when it hears sound well this does not happen it records sounds when you set it up but if there is no sound for some time it will not record anymore waste of time this was the whole point in buying this recorder for this purpose but this is not the case

I wanted a recorder for my mother, her health is declining lately and so I wanted a way for her to record memories and stories for myself (she's lived a very full life, and there are plenty of things she's done that I still have not heard about), and any kids I may have in the future. I wanted a recorder that would be as easy as possible for her, with lots of space and this one is honestly just perfect.

Works well in continuous record mode.Was advertised to be delivered in one day but it took 5 days. Very poor for Prime.

The sound quality was great. I need to tape for a long time, and have voice data to be time/date stamp. I could not make it work, with the included software. Also playing back with windows 7 media player was not working perfect. Had to return.
