This was perfect to have in my pocket when playing a round of golf to clean my club on the spot after a practice swing.

I like to keep my grooves as clean as I can and was tired of doing it groove by groove. As long as you're not too rough with this (those prongs look like they could be damaged with too much pressure) it does a great job of getting in and cleaning them out, making the process of doing multiple clubs much quicker. Has a sturdier single groove blade for more stubborn cleaning jobs and a built-in ball marker. I keep this handy in my bag and find myself using even more than I anticipated.

I always wipe the club after I hit, but after I started using this tool I found my shots were true.

Do not buy this product. It is cheap, flimsy and other than the ball marker, worthless. The plastic groove cleaner teeth and the metal groove sharpener on the other end are not attached to the rubber body and fall in (or out) very easily. I cannot believe Calloway would put their name on this piece of junk. Save your money and buy a brush to clean the grooves. This one ain't worth 2 cents.Update 10/29/17. A couple of months after I posted my review, I was contacted by Calloway customer service via email. The email apologized for my experience and stated that I must have received a defective tool and offered to mail me a new Groove Cleaner to replace my original if I contacted them, which I did. Shortly thereafter, I did receive a new Groove Cleaner. I will admit that I was expecting the same problem with the thing that I had the first time, namely poor design and product failure. To my surprise, the new Groove Cleaner was indeed better as the plastic groove cleaner teeth at one end, and the metal groove sharpener at the other end were solidly attached to the rubber body. Comparing it to the prior one, I could see that the first one definitely was defective - the slots where the two end pieces fit in the body were split on the ends, making them larger so that the pieces just fell out (or in). So, I will give five stars to Calloway's customer service who, apparently having read my review, reached out to me and replaced the tool. At least they stand behind their product.As to the product itself, the jury is still out for me, hence the three star rating. The plastic teeth will clean dirt from the grooves, though they seem as they will break if too much pressure is applied. The metal groove sharpener is really not a sharpener; it is a flat metal strip with a beveled edge that is not sharp by any means. It may remove any small burls in the grooves, but it is not a sharpener with a cutting blade like the groove sharpeners sold on Amazon and in other golf stores. (My irons don't have any burrs anyway, but that is what I think this could help with.) Again, I would be leery of applying too much pressure using this tool, at either end. Bottom line: the tool, if used gently and carefully, will remove dirt/grass from the grooves in your irons, and if you have any burrs on any grooves, it may help smooth out the groove. As three stars indicate, the tool is okay. But I would not buy another one if I lost this one. There are better options in my opinion.Thanks again to the responsive customer service from Calloway.
