Dermacol Make-up Cover - Water-Proof Hypoallergenic for all Skin Types, nr 208

I had the ultimate pleasure of using this product for the first time nearly a month ago, and upon ordering I didn't even realize that 'fakes' would be an issue to look out for. After extensively researching online, I realized the dermacol I had received from Amazon was indeed legitimate.I wanted to test out a lighter color, so took a chance on ordering again. Unfortunately, this time I absolutely received counterfeit product, and I am so disappointed. I'm going to initiate a return as soon as I'm back from my trip, but things to look out for:1) Fake box is black, not a 'textured' charcoal as the real deal.2) Tube of dermacol should be a rich gold color, not champagne like fake. Also the logo will be horridly off center on the front of the tube!3) Fake tube will be very full, almost to the point where you wonder if it'll burst.4) Color codes/serial codes on box and product won't match, nor will expiry dates.5) Smell of product is wrong! Fake has a weird chemical chocolate smell, real is floral.6) Product is very goopy on the fake, whereas legit is very paste like.Guys, never use fake make up products! They are often unregulated and there can be very toxic ingredients used. Just my two cents, be careful everyone!

My skin is in the process of clearing up but I still have acne, acne scarring (discoloration and some pocks) and redness in general. It's hard enough to find face makeup that actually covers everything up, wears well and doesn't cost a fortune but it's even harder when you're pale and have more yellowey undertones (pink or cool are most common). Dermacol has a wide variety of shades and tones. They still don't have my exact shade but I mix 208 and 209 and it does the trick.I found about this makeup because my favorite makeup guru, Thataylaa, posted a review on this and I was already over here buying it before the video was through because it looked so good on her. This is by far the best foundation I've ever had the privilege to apply. I fell head over beauty blender the first time I applied it and I haven't used a different foundation / base since. It's definitely for the oily / combo skin squad, as it will cling to dry patches. But as long as you exfoliate and moisturize well before using, you'll be fine. I have combo skin and I don't start getting oily or caking until about 9 or 10 hour mark. It's a satin-matte finish, which normally I don't like, but it actually gives your skin a more natural look. And if you want it more matte, just use some powder.I regret not knowing about this product sooner but I'm glad I get to use it now. Dermacol has created a miracle and I can't even begin to thank them enough for that!!

Yes!! FINALLY the REAL Dermacol! I ordered from another Amazon vendor and got a fake. I watched all the YouTube videos on how to tell the real from fake, but unless you have both to compare side by side, you just cannot be sure!There are only very subtle differences in the boxes, the paper the instructions are printed on, and the color and shimmer of the tubes and lid. But there is a massive difference in the consistency/thickness and cover that you cannot appreciate unless you can see both at the same time.This company sent me the real deal. Authentic Dermacol! Thank you!!In the photos, the darker tube is the real one. Notice that the color of the tube matches the color of the lid perfectly. The real makeup is thicker and stays shaped like it just came out of the tube.The lid also sparkles like the tube on the real one.The fake lid is darker than the tube is, and has no glittery shimmer. The fake makeup wasn't watery, nor did it smell bad, but i didnt have to squeeze to get some out and it spreads into a drop or pool and looks like like other liquid makeups.

I have oily, acne prone skin. I've tried many high-end, name brand foundations. This foundation is the best I've tried yet. It's thick, but light weight; less is more with this product. I took this photo 4 hours after I applied the foundation to half of my face. I will definitely keep using this product and I highly recommend anyone try it.

In the picture, the fake is on the top and is very pink and the authentic is more skin-toned like it should be.The fake product gushes out as soon as you break the seal and lose so much product whereas the authentic doesn't gush out and is a much thicker product. There are many other indicators of this product being a fake so please use caution. If you purchase this product from this listing anyway in disregard to the warnings of other reviewers from this listing please do your research online and compare the package you got with what people have provided online.

This purchase was fulfilled directly by Amazon (not by one of Amazon's third party sellers). I have heard that there are a lot of fakes going around, so I figured it would be safer than going with a third party seller. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The expiration date and serial code on the box did not match the expiration date and serial code on the tube. This is a dead giveaway that the product inside has been tampered with because these numbers should match. Also, the cap on the tube I received had a square point instead of a round one. After reading online about how to identify fakes, I learned that a square tip is a pretty strong indicator of a fake. I hope Amazon can get to the bottom of what's going on with this rash of counterfeit products. I'm just glad I didn't put it on my face. Who knows what's even in this tube? It could be filled with lead from China! Very disappointed. Always check your product before using it!!!

Well I’ve been truly considering getting this foundation for a long time after seeing all the hype about it and so finally ordered some and and say it is a very good full coverage foundation and a pretty ok shade (208) however it’s not that long wearing and transfers like crazy ! Also , after using it few times I’ve had a minor breakouts so I guess it sorta suffocates the skin. I’ll keep it for a night out as a full coverage or mix with moisturiser for a lighter base. It really does transfer like crazy but with that it’s quiet easy to fix and the pigment is so highly concentrated.

I was a little dubious of this at first as I haven't really had much luck with concealers, I'm very pale and I've tried so many of them. This is the only concealer I will ever buy again! You only need a tiny amount of it and it covers everything perfectly. You can even cover tattoos with it without them showing. I definitely recommend this!

I'm so glad I chose this item. I've ordered two before from different sellers. FINALLY found one that isn't fake! I really rate this foundation, I think it's brilliant. Covers really well, can be made lighter by adding moisturiser and used as a tinted moisturiser too. Super happy this isn't a fake, I'll be buying this again from this seller!

Fantastic coverage and a little bit I mean 18 a bit goes a very long way. Great for a teenager trying to cover imperfections on skin. Ordered to lighter colour so need to put a bit of bronzer over it. Next time we'll order slightly darker. Stays put all day.

If i could give minus points for this product I would the product arrived looking as it's been used seal had gone already along with a dented tube not impressed as was a present for someone for XmasWill be requesting a refund
