Yizhi Miaow Escape Proof Cat Harness with Leash Extra Large, Adjustable Cat Walking Jackets, Padded Cat Vest Polka Dot Black

We bought this for our cat Roger who had a sore on his back which wouldn’t heal. He kept scratching and licking it, and the cone from the vet was making him cross and miserable. This coat was perfect, He got used to it really quickly, and the strong Velcro kept it very secure. The Velcro means you can fit it just as tight as it needs to be. It completely stopped him from bothering his sore patch, which is now all better. We didn’t try the lead on it, because Roger’s threshold of tolerance is quite low, but it looks like it would work well if you have a cat who’d be up for it. It was great for what we needed, easy to put on and take off. It fastens round the neck and belly, and it stays put. As an added bonus he looked really handsome in it too. Jolly Roger, very happy.

The product is well made and very pretty. My cat looks adorable. It took a little while to get my cat used to the harness and it wasn't easy initially getting it on her (due to my cat - not the product!). However, we persevered as I wanted her to be able to go outside again. She has various ailments and vets orders were that she had to now be a house cat. Felt terrible keeping her in as she always had freedom to go out whenever she wanted. She has now been into the garden with the harness and lead on and although she didn't do too much walking she seemed comfortable and calm and enjoyed the fresh air / sniffing the plants. We will continue taking her out for short periods so that she gets more used to it. Hopefully she will start walking more in it so we can take her further. She used to love walking up to the local park with us before she became housebound (we live in a rural area and the park is very close down a side road) and hopefully in the future we can take her there again (and carry her when needed). Very pleased with the product. Very secure and seems comfortable for my cat. She hasn't tried to get out of it, pull it off or demonstrate any discomfort while wearing it.

Hard or impossible for him to get out of. Easy to put on. He walks really well, no problems with the shoulder area constricting his natural cat walking abilities. Well made. Velcro strong. Watch for your fluffy cats fur though. He really loves this being in the army. Honestly the best for a slim slinky cat or older kitten. I got extra small. Very good with easy, stress free attaching. Good lead strong attachment at the correct anatomical area of his back just after his shoulders. He is an eascapologist and this he has not got out of, and his neck is safe too, as cats can get throttled on other stupid ones. Not this one padded well. Go for it. Watch the kitty for with the velcro.

3rd time lucky! After ordering 2 other harness from a different brand, I tried the Yizhi in despair and it was by far the best I got. I ordered the navy one first as tried to find a big one for my big boy (5.5kg) and the L one just fitted perfectly while keeping him well safe. The dog harness were not good as were always too big at the neck. Now my cat is 6k and it still fit as it is adjustable at the body waist but no more much room so if my cat is getting bigger I can always get the XL one which has now been added.As I was well pleased, I also got the pink one for my little girl. Got the L also even if she is only 3kg2 and again it was fine as adjustable with scratches at the neck and waist and it will give her plenty of room to grow into.

We moved into our new house with our cat one week ago, and as he was a former outside cat I wanted to be able to bring him into the garden so he wouldn’t feel too trapped. I thought this fabulous “escape proof” harness would do the job for that. For the first week, all was well, we explored the grass and had a great time. Until tonight. A new neighbour came over to say hi as we’re new to the neighbourhood, and my timid cat of course tried to run the other way, and slipped RIGHT out of the harness, without a bit of issue. It was on completely correctly, it’s still fastened shut from when he got out of it. So if you want a pretty harness, that’s about all it’s good for.

Unfortunately my cat really does not like this harness, seems a bit bulky. Maybe she needs more time to get used to it as she has never worn a harness before. She seems fine with smaller cheap harness i bought since buying this, but I will keep trying her with this as it does seem to be a decent harnes.

My cat looks gorgeous in it but hates it. If your cat is used to being on a leash this is really lovely and good quality, if you have a grumpy and rebelious cat like mine, hey, at least we tried.

Update to add new photo at 7mo. He's starting to outgrow it, but it has served him well through kittenhood.Although when I ordered, the XS was still too big for my kitten (see photo) he has since grown into it and with fairly consistent clicker training, he's comfortable wearing it around the house. Even when it was too big, I was able to put it on him to get him comfortable wearing it. We've not processed to the leash yet, but he's finally getting big enough that I will start on indoor leash training soon.The harness is easy to put on as it is only 2 velcro straps and it stays on well. The strap under the chin is a bit large for kittens, but with how fast they grow it becomes a good size quickly. The velcro is very strong and my cat hasn't been able to get out of it, though he hasn't really tried.The first few times he wore it he walked very funny, but with clicker training and treats he's become very comfortable moving around in it.

It is everything we were looking for. We tried the over the head harness and kitty was not going to let us even try...but with this, it was soooo easy, it looks comfortable, she adjusted to it within seconds, loves wearing it to go outside and roll in the grass, and it's sooooo cute! It fit her a little big (size small), but with the velcro it's easy to adjust to size...and no escape issues, make sure you put it on snug! Can't wait to purchase more...we looooove it...thank you!Uodate: Since my last review, I have purchased the blue and white sailor harness in a size Large since our little kitty is almost fully grown to her adult size. The harness is adorable and she looks soooo cute in it, the velcro fir thus size is not as long, wide or strong as my first purchase of the small pink lace harness. This one does have a couple of snap closures around the neck and the belly and it helps keeping our kitty secure. It also came with a matching blue and white stripped leash that adds to the cutness. And once again,no escape issues! Thank you and yes, this is our go to place for our kitties harness shopping 😊

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely adorable! Quality material with bright bold colors. Vest is easy to put on cats and Velcro stays put. I love how cute the Sailor look is for my two kitties. The included removable leashes are a huge plus. They are a bit long however and maneuvering two active kittens can be tanglesome. I just wrap the leash around my hand to shorten leash for an easy-fix and better control of cat. I recommend making vest snug but not tight on cat to avoid cat from breaking loose. Once snug, the vest stays put which makes for a stress free outing for mom! The Velcro attachment around the neck part would give cat more comfort and less stiffness if it were a tad bit narrower I think. The vests are snugfit-adjustable around cat's neck and abdomen. I bought 2 sets of 2 sizes for my growing kittens. Great product and highly recommend for use on curious kittens and cats while at the park. SAFETY ISSUE: When putting cats in a pet stroller I would advise putting vest on cat first without leash attached. Then clip leash onto vest right before taking cat out of stroller. DO NOT leave leash on vest while cat is in stroller or in carrier as strangulation by attached long leash may occur! REMEMBER: Safety First!

Mit Hilfe der Angaben auf der Produktseite habe ich es genau passend auswählen können. Durch Üben mit Hilfe des Clickers hat er es gut angenommen, auch, wenn er noch seltsam damit läuft und nicht springt. Für erste Erkundungstouren im Garten hervorragend. El modelo es bonito y práctico de poner pero al tener solo velcro mi gato se lo quita muy fácil, por lo que no puedo salir a pasear con el sin que se me escape.Una pena.
