They're about an inch too short in both dimensions for my Apimaye frames, but that is easily remedied by cutting strips from another foundation piece and melting them into the original to make up the difference. The slightly messy seams haven't bothered bothered my bees. I only have three hives. If you have a lot of hives, I recommend a less time consuming solution.

These don't even smell like beeswax. Bought to make candles. I will still try to make candles out of them, but whats the point? I bought for the fragrance.

I bought this to use as a comb foundation to place in a beehive. I opened up the package and noticed it had a nasty odor, so I decided to taste a bit of it. It should taste like beeswax, right. It had a fuel oil like taste and it took a long time to get that chemical taste out of my mouth. Its advertised as 100% beeswax. I would say it might be 99% beeswax contaminated with maybe 1% hydraulic fluid or whatever was in the tank before they mixed in the beeswax. It came from China, so who knows what the contaminant is. I'm sure it is not pure or FDA food grade approved. If it was disagreeable to me, then I don't think that the bees would like it either. And if they did use it, I would not want to eat or give the honey away. It may be fine for making candles, but definitely not for hive foundation. I returned this product.

Same manufacturer of wax sheets are 2 different sizes. The 15 pack is about half inch less in width than the 30 pack. The frames are made for the 8 and half sheets. I use these for bee hives that I custom build.
