BOSS AUDIO BRS40 Replacement Speaker 4" 50-watt Full Range Speaker

車に備え付けのダッシュボードスピーカーの音ががっかりだったので 同サイズのこのスピーカーが意外に格安だったので購入 低音は満足のいく音でした。高音もう少し出てくれると更に良かったのですが 良く見なかった自分が悪かったのですがペア（２個）価格かと思って購入したら １個でした。（慌てて追加購入しました(^_^;)）

Bought this because I could not get the identical mounting sized 4ohm 40Watt speaker from the vehicle manufacturer: works as a perfect replacement and had the identical mounting screw distance too! NOTE: this speaker has solder connections for best sound.

suenan bien para el tamaño que tienen tampoco hay que esperar mucha potencia pero de ahi en fuera buena calidad a y otra cosa deberia de especificar mejor que el precio es por bocina o fue mi culpa por talvez no entender pero si deberia decir que es por pieza ya acabo de pedir otra para tener el par

For the price, which is simply incredible, these are 5-star speakers. I picked up 2 for a home stereo project (bookshelf mini-speakers). They arrived incredibly fast and were clam-shelled for extra protection. See picture below for contents. Speaker is 4" square. The leads are marked, but it is really faint; I used a flashlight to read the polarities. Speakers were tested on a Pioneer amp. At 25 watts (4 Ohm impedance) they were clear, loud, and without distortion. The bass registers but is nothing to write home about. The woofer does pick-up beautiful midranges clearly and with an audiophile level not expected for the price. It is a dual cone, so the tweeter is is a whizzer that really can't pick up the high range treble and is mediocre, but passable. The next test was at 50W - likely overdriven somewhat (~55W). Sound output was very good; loud, mostly clear and unexpectedly crisp on midrange (with limited bass) - it played a house mix with boom. Again, the treble suffered; it started to distort on treble laden rock songs (despite the amp actively filtering the signal). Despite this distortion, the speakers are surprisingly good, better than expected, and at that price... need I say more?
