I bought one of these trays when it was a Kickstarter and loved it. It felt like a very high-quality product and looks wonderful on a side table. Now I purchased this one to put on an office desk. I found that the bottom of the tray does not line up precisely with the wooden lid - the bottom juts out 1/8" in front of the lid leaving a noticeable mis-alignment. I replaced the product and the second one has the same problem. So, while this still feels like a high-quality product, this lack of precision is unsightly and not what I expect for the price. Too bad because the older version was perfect and precise.

Weak magnets, rotates but not as smoothly as advertised. Packaging feels cheap. Materials are fairly sturdy but it's practically just a metal box with wooden lid with a small gap.

The magnet is a little weak. Also you can see a gap so easily tell something is hiding under.The tray is kinda too small to fit my wallet and car keys
