If you have a real two-bulb hygrometer, these are perfect replacement wicks.
I love Amazon for this. Where are you going to find new wicks? After a couple of years, my Hygrometer's wick was crusty with mold and mineralization. This is a package of new wicks that will last me many years.

Too small and way overpriced
These are narrower and shorter than the original, barely 3 inches long instead of 4.5 inches. They look like cut-up pieces of a shoe lace and probably are. I'm returning and buying a cotton shoe lace instead. This is a screaming rip off!

Bought these for a Reed hygrometer only to discover that they are not as long as the original wick.Original is 4.5" and these are only 3.5" which means they are only long enough to fit in the top 1/3 of the water container.
