Screen / tablet not working! had no results/service from the seller. SERVICE SUCKS!!
Service SUCKS!!The Fex ArchStone Pro HD Interactive Graphic... arrived promptly on schedule, it was quite simple to set up. The quality, brightness, and color of the screen seemed to be as good as expected. EXCEPT... it had a 3/4inch yellowish strip across the top of the screen which was not transparent. AND, when I opened the latest PhotoshIop, the PRESSURE SENSITIVE STYLUS application did not work correctly. It just worked like a regular mouse. I then tested it on the Windows test pad and it worked fine. I have been a professional photographer for years and am not a stranger to using tablets, usually Wacom tablets of most sizes. I sent an email to the address packed with the screen/tablet. there was no response from FEX Technology. In that, I also teach Photoshop and Correl Painter, I was hoping it was just a quick fix with software. After two days of no response from FEX, and a pile of deadlines to meet, I decided to order another Screen/tablet from another company, it arrived within almost a day. It looked almost identical to the FEX unit, even in the same packaging and it worked perfectly right away to save the day. I had planned to apply for a refund from FEX not being happy with their unit and their SERVICE. A few days later I received a call saying my daughter had been in a severe Auto accident. She was lucky to still be alive. I dropped everything and went to be with her. The problem is that I was in Calif. and she was in the mountains of Utah. Weeks later when I returned home for business, I realized I hadn't sent out the FEX unit for return. It was the last thing on my mind until I became aware that it needed a shipping label and a refund slip. I also realized that it was one day past the 30day return policy. I applied through Amazon's process. I got a prompt response the next day declining the request. Stating that the problem had been taken care of already and it was just a software problem. It is REALLY INTERESTING that they managed to solve a software problem without ever contacting me, and the unit was sitting in a box in my office. Ironically, Amazon did contact me via email about a week later asking if the problem had been resolved. The answer being no, they said that they would contact the dealer/seller and get back to me.. That was about a week ago. YET I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM AMAZON or FEX. I'm sure the FEX Screen/tablet is a fine unit when everything is working correctly. It is a very reasonable price if it worked. I'm open for any suggestions. Thanks
