It works. Kind of. For me, a single press isn’t enough to make a proper cookie shape and two clicks distorts the resulting shape a bit. If you aren’t too picky about how neat the cookies are, chances are your kids or guests won’t notice it anyway. It’s especially useful when the days are too hot and you don’t want to roll and cut traditional cookies. After I press the cookies on a baking sheet, I put the sheet in the fridge for at least an hour before baking. This produces much neater cookies. And don’t overbake the cookies either. Take them out while the tops are still cream colored and the bottoms barely started browning and then let them cool on the sheet outside of the oven. And use the recipe included rather than your regular cookie recipe. This device requires a much softer batter to function properly. I’d give it 5 stars if the disks fit much easier and the clicks pushed out slightly more batter.
