I cannot sing enough praises for this book!! My pediatrician has been practicing for several decades and has been recommending this book. So glad he did! I have recommended it to everyone I know as well. If you are tired of second guessing yourself, you have guilt over wavering between being too permissive or to assertive with your child, or you want a how to of sorts for the positive parenting track. Look no further, this book is that sweet middle road we all KNOW is where we really want to be. ITS POSSIBLE to be proactive with parenting, this book can help you think creatively towards TEACHING you child and not just correcting them (and mine was only 14 months old when I started to apply this book). I see such a difference in my son, and I have a confidence I'm doing good for him. The A-Z quick reference is the best resource for a lot of the common problems, and they give you several solutions to consider what approach might work best for your own child. DO yourself a favor and BUY THIS BOOK! you'll be glad you have it on your parenting bookshelf!
