Nice and bright, warm white, easy to install, not hot
I like these LED bulbs for the sewing machine. Brighter than the old style, and not at all hot to touch. Easy to install, like any bayonet-base bulb. Just push it in a bit and turn about 1/8 of a turn. All done.

Works very well - much brighter
These work well in my vintage Singer 301 sewing machine. I have purchased others from Lowes and WalMart, but the flickered. These fit well, give a bright, steady light

Perfect For a Featherweight 221, More Light Than a Incandescent
I would occasionally burn the top of my hand when touching the incandescent lamp using above the sewing needle in my the Featherweight 221. We purchased this LED version and I am so pleased. It puts out more light and only warm to the touch after being on for many minutes. The diameter is smaller as well so its much less likely to even touch it with the top of the hand anymore. It fit fine in the socket, no problem to insert and twist to lock. I backed away from buying a LED bulb that was being sold at a quilting show for $18 and I'm glad I did as there were only about $5 ea.Highly recommended.

I can see clearly now . . .
I have a 1970's Kenmore sewing machine. I was happy to find an LED light bulb that fit and works. The old bulbs got very hot, but this one has not. I bought the daylight white and it produces a clear, bright light. So far, I am very happy with my selection.

Low quality - very short life time
I bought this to replace incandescent light in my brush vacuum head thinking that LED light would last many times longer. Surprisingly, this LED light lasted only a few months of occasional use of the vacuum. I used up two of this LED light within a few months. The incandescent light lasted many years of use, so much longer than this poor quality LED. DO NOT BUY THIS if you are looking for long life.
