SHAMO'S Clear Shock Absorption TPU Rubber Gel Case (Clear) compatible with iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus

For me, it is a total rip-off. The cover from inside where it touches the iPhone is rough in a way that would definitely scratch my phone. I did not use it. I just throw it into my drawer. It might not be the case if you have iPhone 7 plus as you won’t worry about glass background.

Photos made the case look like it was about the thickness of a Ringke clear case but it’s just a slim opaque silicone case. The lens protector is a nice touch but the front edge for the screen is too slim and does not provide any form of protection of your phone fell face-down first. If you have a tempered protector on your phone, it will be raised above the case bezel so that will 100% smash and possibly transfer the impact to your screen.I do not recommend this case unless you want an ultra slim case and do not care about additional drop protection.

This was suggested to me when I was browsing and I bought it based on the 4.5/5-star rating on 800+ reviews it has on the .com website (no reviews on .ca when purchased, I believe it's "new" up here).I honestly really like the look and feel of the case (it's soft and gives the phone a square-y look), but the only thing that's truly properly aligned on the one I received is the opening for the camera bump. The openings for the charge port and the mute switch are off-centre, the buttons are off-centre, and all of the holes for the speakers are mis-aligned (this can be seen in the attached photos). There's also some weird bend right on the bottom corner of the case (seen in the last photo), which I can't really explain.It's possible this is just a bad single unit I received, so I'm going to give it another chance because as mentioned, the look and feel of the case is actually great.UPDATE: I purchased 2 more and both still have the same issues as the original, however the degree and direction of misalignment is not the same across each case (which indicates poor quality control). If you don't care for the misalignment, then you will like this case, however you still can do better at this price point.

I purchased the cover to fit an i-phone 8 (5.5 " long), but the dimensions given on the sites indicate the 5.5-inch long cover was for a iphone 8+. I knew something was awry and should have just walked away, but decided to go ahead and order a cover based on the dimensions on the model (iphone 8) and sure enough, received a cover which fits the iphoe 8+ (not my iphone 8). So useless to me, I just threw it out.

Slim fit, not bulky. My son will probably be getting a new phone for Christmas, so this case was perfect to replace his old, cracked one for the next few months. But to be honest, I think it would last him a lot longer than that, if he needed it. It's well made, clear and fits well.
