Great product, if you can separate without breaking.
Love this product, works great for bugs...but separating the coils is a pain without breaking one.

Love these
I love these so much. If you hate putting on bug spray and then smelling like it for the rest of the day, this is what you need. They're not without limitations though, so be aware: windy days basically make these useless. If you've got a patio that's somewhat protected from the wind you'll have the best results. On a slightly breezy day you might need a couple going at once, upwind, so you're basking in the smoke. The smoke isn't overwhelming or anything, and I personally love the way these smell. If you're finding they're keeping the skeeters off your arms, but ending the evening with bites on your feet, try having 2 going, one on a table and one under it. Incidentally, I've found that these do great for keeping bees and wasps away too, so keep that in mind the next time stingy thingys show up and try to crash your picknic. I've heard that in some mosquito infested locations these don't work as well, so don't expect to have great results in a swamp, but for most backyard or poolside activities, these work great as long as you keep them close.

You need to know
Just gonna put it like this. I live in the country and I hate mosquitos. I mean I really hate them. I have researched so much on how to beat these ladies. Citronella plants don't work, as I've seen them hover inches from the flowers. PLUS citronella plants are extremely poisonous to dogs and cats in case you didnt know. I've used a bug zapper with some very little results. I've used candles, but that only seems to work in a small area and doesn't effect below the table you're sitting at and your legs get it. Ive used deet and other repellents, but that just seems to be a dinner bell for them. I've used the fire pit and that seemed to be the most successful option...until now. I had a mosquito coil a few years back for camping and it worked surprisingly well, so I went for it again and bout these two weeks ago now. Oh my..its done it. Mosquitos weren't all gone, but they were reduced by more than 90% within a 15 ft radius. In the 5 hours sitting around it I saw two mosquitos. The smell wasn't awful either. Two of my guest even complimented the smell saying it reminded them of camping. Just saying...get these and use them while you're out trying to find the next best thing. They're cheap, theres a lot in a pack and they work.

Works well, low hassle
I am sure it's pretty subjective what people think works/does not work for them for mosquito repellency. tiki torches, thermacells, etc. I've tried a lot of things and I think these coils and the thermacells work pretty well. Possibly the coils work better than the thermacell.Really no complaints, they come with two little metal stands that fold out and you stick the coil on it and it keeps it up off the table/ground/whatever. You just need to make sure you haven't set it down on/near something flammable and you should be good to go. Obviously works better when it is calm and not very windy.

Best mosquito coil ever
I spend a lot of time in my backyard year-round (I'm a birder and most of the birds are outside). I also have a terrible mosquito problem. I suspect it's because all my surrounding neighbors water heavily and almost constantly. I have tried different approaches: citronella plants, traps, a fan, oils, etc. but settled on mosquito coils using a very popular name-brand. However, this Summer they mysteriously disappeared "off" the shelves at my local grocery stores. I looked online for name-brand coils and they were crazy expensive. No, thanks!I found the Pic coils and gave them a try. They were much better priced and work as well as name-brand. The Pic coils also smell great and burn cleaner with less ash. If name-brand comes back from "off" the shelves, I will still continue to use Pic. One slight caveat: be careful when separating the packed coils and do it close to a flat surface. If dropped, they will break into pieces. Otherwise, enjoy the outdoors!
