Collins Primary Atlas

Offensive Editing!
Not pleased. Its 3mm thick and with Inaccurate information. The Caribbean is classified with Mexico? WTF is that? Its a region on its own. Flags of countries show some Caribbean countries mixed up with Latin American countries whilst other Caribbean flags like Trinidad and Tobago completely omitted. I taught Geography for 21 years. This atlas is a disappointment and offensive. It tells me the writer or editors could not be bothered with content thats not relevant to them. I would have stood a better chance buying from Poundland. Not happy at all!

A good back up learning tool.
As I recently purchased a globe so the grandchildren could learn about the world around them. I thought the next step would be to invest in an atlas. I purchaseď a few, as I found it difficult to select just one. The one in question is for primary school use, but adults could dip into it too. It's good general knowledge, the illustrations and pictures are colourful and it's full of amazing facts about different continents and countries alike. Great value for money and they are used in schools too.

A great Atlas for primary aged children.
I bought this to plan a block of work using an Atlas and it was perfect for what I needed it for. Easy to read and search for different countries etc.It outlines continents, oceans, countries, how to use an atlas (grid references, hemispheres, equator) etc. An all round great Altas.

What a world
So informative and interesting. My son loves it and find it fun even just flicking through. Enjoys learning about maps and atlas now and no pressure to make him use it. Total winner.
