Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious: Time Lord Victorious

Part of the BBC’s ambitious multi platform crossover event across various media this graphic novel featuring the tenth and thirteenth Doctors, Daleks and unknown foes from the Dark Times. The story has some good moments and dialogue but what spoils it for me is the inconsistent standard of the artwork by Roberta Ingranata described as a “fan favourite”. The illustrations vary from rather good to positively awful. In general the backdrops are well drawn as are the likes of the Tardis and the Dalek Prime Strategist. However the main Daleks are drawn in an upgraded style with annoying large heads and small eye stalks and look pretty bad. The Doctor in both forms suffers from the most appallingly drawn mouths and noses - a trait of the illustrator. Some of the images are acceptable and recognisable but the majority look crude to the extreme. Spoils what could have been an interesting graphic novel.

Surely this story should feature the Eighth Doctor ( ie not the Tenth Doctor) to tie in with the Time Lord Victorious novels. If not why is the Tenth Doctor shocked at the Eighth Doctor allying himself with the Daleks in the novel 'All Flesh is Grass' when he has done just that in this comic book. Also there should have been mention of the Kotturuh in this story to justify it being published under the Time Lord Victorious title .Loved the Dalek Strategist character

This is not the multi-Doctor epic the cover implies.It's a decent little story that I think will be more enjoyable alongside the other pieces of the Time Lord Victorious puzzle.My own fault for not properly reading the description, but I was disappointed when it arrived, thus my review score.

fantastic adventures, graphic, storyline .. it seems you are watchng a real episode of Doctor Who just reading the comic, tenth Doctor sounds exactly like Tenth Doctor, which is always something good.I devoured the comic, I'll probably re read it too, I advise every one to buy it, you're going to love it <3

Plutôt en temps, rapidement car il est arrivé juste 5 jours en-avance quand même le coco :).Je ne vais pas mentir qu'en l'ouvrant je m'attendais à un autre colis mais j'ai plutôt beugé, un peu lorsque j'ai compris avant le dénouement, qui était en vrai "Face de Boe" bahaha.;) trop forte.In brief,😅J'ai été informée sur l'application de l'arrivée de mon "bijoux". (J'habite en France).C'est ce que j'aime avec l'application (Amazon.FR prime) je suis informée d'où il est (mon colis), du délai, des reports, plutôt bien fait et le suivi de colis fonctionne très bien.Je n'aie eu donc aucun soucis...🤷🏻‍♀️ well mise à part les "ronds rouges" sur mes photos, il y a eu des dommages sur ma BD...snif😞mais ce n'est pas grave...mmh! Mais ce n'est absolument pas un problème !
