I was a little worried that these would look too big on my smaller framed cruiser (Victory Octane). However, I think they’re alright. You can judge for yourself from the photos.We’ll see how they stand the rest of time but for now 5 stars

It’s a nice looking bag not too bulky. Don’t waste your money on the mounting kit. If you have the holdfast hardware kit on your bike. I connected them on the bike, directly to the holdfast Harley mounts. Remove the old bolts and use 3’ 3/8 bolts, flat washers and lock washers. I also used pre drilled flat bar to protect the bag from moving towards the wheel. You can get that homedepot. Secured the bottom of the flat bar using 1/4” bolts, flat washers and locknuts.Requires a bit of drilling in the bags to make all the holes. I recommend once you have one mounted use the other one as a template for your next holes on the other bag. I also cut off the zippers and handles. The holdfast mounts still work well for my sissy bar after installed.

Updated Review: More than a year and 15,000 miles after mounting them on my 2014 883 Iron, these bags continue to be a great product. Although I did not install brackets, there has only been minor wear on the back of the bags where they rub against the shock bolts. Also with regular cleaning with Pledge, the bags still look brand new. The tie downs that come with the bags are still in great condition, no fraying whatsoever. The bags have kept they're shape, despite having stuffed them full of anything I could manage. I take them off every time I wash my bike and are easy to re-install. I haven't noticed any damage to the fender paint under my seat. The paint on my Iron is the hard candy factory custom paint so not sure if that's a factor. Would buy again.Perfect for my 2014 Harley Davidson XL Iron 883N. No relocation needed of lights nor side mounted license plate. Installed as a throw over, under my Mustang low tripper solo seat. Do recommend purchasing saddlebag support brackets. Not absolutely necessary, but without the support brackets, the bags do rest on the shock bolts which would probably end up wearing on the bags. I didn't want something really huge, just for the occasional run to the store and lugging my stuff to work and back home. First run was to the market for a six pack of beer (bottles) and no problem re: fit and no sagging. Black buckles go great with my blacked out Iron. Recommended! Note: I actually purchased this through Amazon. A little bit more expensive for the bags, but with free shipping to Hawaii, overall cost was less than anyone else. Yeah Amazon!

Installed these on my 96 H-D FXD. Didn't want big bags, these look good and will hold a light jacket or sweatshirt. I agree with others that the snaps are a pain to squeeze open. Overall happy with them and hey - they're made in the USA 🇺🇸.
