Best revision guides
Always used CGP after being recommended by teachers due to their high-quality content and very useful videos and online content which compliments the physical books. Split into topics just like the GCSE which I find useful and not squashed in which means it’s easier to understand. However, I would like to see the physical book quality improved as the plastic cover does peel off and leave a mess quickly, although definitely not a reason to not choose these books. Highly recommend!

Useful Part of your collection but not a perfect Book
Reaaly, this book is ok for Edexcel Maths students but....While there is useful material inside it but I don't really feel it has been revised to completely reflect the changes for the new maths syllabus - these are major and are not just restricted to a new grading system - there is lots of new material and I like many maths teachers are confused as to what the eventual exam is going to look like.Edexcel has released the new syllabus and two sets of sample exam materials (one was considered too hard and was replaced with the latest one - check this on the Edexcel Website.So bearing in mind that we are all involved in something of a mystery tour with this new syllabus - its tough to get the right book.There is going to be a guide that can help us along this path but I don't think this is it - I have gone back to using the David Rayner - 'Higher Student Book - 6th Edition'. Although that book looks a lot less friendly, it has loads more questions and answers pitched at all levels for the aspiring maths student.And it is practice that makes perfect.
