I had to apply a little force to get it to fit. Once it's on, it works okay.

This is a great spanner tool for 4X4 Spindle nuts
This fits nuts that measure 2.5" OD and 2.25" across the notches.The great thing about this tool is that the OD goes over the nut so it will not slip off.The only issue I can see is that the major OD of the tool is 3.01", It might not fit into some more petite hubs.I used this to install the spindle nuts on a Yukon "Free Spin" kit. I did relieve the tool in one area to provide clearance for the locking pin on the inner nut. Without that relief the nut does not set perfectly square in the tool. That makes it easier to start the nut with less risk of cross threading.Jim
