Ottoline and the Purple Fox

the proud owner of this is 8 and a half. she is very pleased with this.This has really helped her interest in books and was a great purchase. the content is zany and interesting and If you find most kids books tend to send you to sleep then these will entertain adults alike. Expect whakey names, zaney stories and a keen child wanting to read more.

Beautifully written but due to the wonderfully creative drawings, my daughter (11 years) read it in an hour. I love all of Riddell's books and he, himself, is a lovely person. We met him at the local children's literary festival when he was signing books.

This series of books has been a game changer for my 8 year old reluctant reader. These have really sparked her interest, she loves the main character and is devouring one book after another.

My 6 year old loves Chris Riddell's books especially the Ottoline series.There are amazing and fun illustrations on every page, feels like every page is a page turner. We highly recommend it.

Is it sad that I'm an adult buying this for myself. Probably, but it's such a good little story. There's always something fun on each page. It would be perfect for creative kids who like to find new things, or grown ups who act childish.
