Baking fine gift cookies is fun
I've had the press for almost a year and I'm still enjoying it a lot. The pizelles produced are excellent cookies / pastries. The booklet that provides the recipes is a good start, but I've been having fun trying out different flavors, colors, and little tweaks for the season or event. Very easy to clean from the large amount of butter included in the recipe - no sticking to the non-stick surface. It was very easy to figure out the temperature that works for the consistency I want.

Cannoli shells
I made pizzelles for the first time ever. I followed the recipe in the booklet that came with the unit. Successful on the first try. Tip: place a dollop of batter on each of the spaces off centre, between the centre and back of the design and use the no. 3 temperature setting; when ready see if you like the texture. I found no. 3 generated good crispy pizzelles, but to make the cannoli shells, it might be better to go down to 2 or even 1 so that the pizzelles will be a little softer to enable rolling without breaking - if the rolled cannoli shells are too soft, pop them into the oven at 250F for a few minutes.

Great Machine...Couple Drawbacks
This little machine is a workhorse. It's very easy to use and there isn't any real cleanup to mention. After every other use I do give both halves a brush with vegetable oil using a silicone brush and I wipe away any excess with paper towel. The machine is very compact and feels solid. The only negatives I've encountered are that it makes 4" pizelle not 5" and the wattage is a little slow. On it's highest setting it takes 1 minute and 40 seconds to make the 2 pizelle at one time. That's LONG AND SLOW! That being said, I tolerate it because it makes great pizelle and is so easy every other way. I do recommend this pizelle maker.

A wonderful press that is easy to use!
I’ve been aching for a pizelle press for years and finally bought one. This Cuisinart WM-PZ10 is great!! I did NOT get the “teflon” type, but opted for the silver, instead of the coated one. This one is so easy to clean! Even I was amazed! You can find tons of pizelle recipes on the internet. I love them dusted with a bit of powdered sugar.Great with morning coffee too! I want to make some chocolate pizelles and make ice cream sandwiches from them. There are also recipes for savory pizelles, which I want to try. This is a FANTASTIC press...it gets very hot and is easy to clean. What more could you want? The recipes make a lot of dough, so I just keep it in the ‘fridge. So glad I purchased this!
