I have thin, stringy, oily hair. I've tried a zillion different shampoos, all claiming to build body, thickness, etc. I've used this for 4 shampoos - that's 4 days, and I don't know if it leaves some kind of film on your hair, but my hair does seem to have more body. Now, it's not over-the-top dramatic, but it's definately noticeable. My hair is normally super soft - after shampooing with Volumea, it's not quite as soft - but that seems to be noticeable only by me. I hate using additional after shampoo products - no conditioner, no mousse, etc. Volumea seems to act, slightly, as though I did add mousse. I like it so far, no complaints - other than it does seem moderately pricey. One more thing - it lathers just fine, but not overly fast - I have some shampoos that as soon as you start to scrub you have gobbs of lather - this isn't as 'lathery' - but it does lather. Just trying to give you as much as possible from my first few uses . . .

Volume for fine hair works well however the product was defective after I used it once the cap broke off n I had to transfer the contents to another bottle . This company makes good products but they are worthless when broken. Don’t purchase the shampoo bc of the inferior packaging

I had to put this excellent shampoo in a different bottle. The cap on the original has a "gimmicky" twist and open feature, and was impossible to open in the shower.
