I didn't know what to expect, but it helps extremely well when I want to push the cleaning rod and patches down the bore. No snags or misalignment issues. Very nice. Thank You...

This works for what it is. Its funny how in the Army we never worried about such luxuries, we just cleaned the rifles and went to work. Of course, we were expecting minute of man at 300 meters too. Nowadays we expect excellent accuracy from our rifles, and keeping the bore clean without damaging the rifles bore, or crown is crucial to maintaining it. This is an excellent product for that, and one of these will cover your entire AR collection. I expect in a pinch you could even use it in a AR10, but I don't know personally. Understand, that this is just one part of what you need. A good one piece rod is essential, but its a great product.

Works fine but an O ring would help hold in place better .

I've not tried it with brake fluid, but it handled just fine with normal cleaning solvents (Hoppes, Ballistol). Does the job.
