My new Favorite for the Pool
Excellent Goggles. Recently I have tried the Speedo Vanquishers, The Aqua Sphere Kayenne and Seal, as well as the Tyr Nest Pro goggles. All of the goggles fit well enough, however the Vanquishers made my eyes hurt. Both the Aqua Sphere Kayenne and the Tyr Nest Pro fit very well and did not leak, however there was a certain amount of underwater visibility distortion that was intrinsic to those goggles. No amount of cleaning and handling could make it go away. The Aqua Sphere Seal and Kaimen both fit very well, neither leaked, and both were crystal clear underwater.I have read that several people were having leaking issues with some of the Aqua Sphere goggles and I am suspicious that this may be caused by over tightening the goggles. I found that when I made the goggles snug, but not overly tight, they fit perfectly without leaking. If I pulled the straps too tight (which is easy to do because of how effective the ratcheting mechanism is on all the aqua sphere goggles, although the Kayenne seem to have the best system all the ones I tried) I would get leaking at the corner of my eyes.I found the Kaiman and the Seal to be equally good goggles. The Seal gives more peripheral vision (larger goggles that rest above the eye ridge and on the check bones) while the Kaiman are more streamlined. I wound up purchasing a pair of the Seal (untinted) goggles for lake swimming. The wider goggle with no tinting makes it easier to see in darker water. The Kaiman (with Tinting) are perfect for swimming in the pool with bright sun.Either way, I don't think you can go wrong.

Get rid of those goggles you bought at a sporting goods store
I'm new to swimming and stood in front of the goggle selection at a local sporting goods store without a clue about what kind of goggles I should buy. I ended up getting something middle of the road in terms of cost, but I couldn't tell you what the difference was between more and less expensive models. I ended up with Speedo Vanquish goggles, which got the job done, but were uncomfortable over the bridge of my nose and fogged up so easily.I turned to Amazon and saw these goggles, which had an average of 4.5 stars from over 200 reviews. This seemed too good to pass up so I took a chance and ordered the silver frame with the tinted lens. I'm looking to do triathlons this year so I knew not to get clear lens which would burn my eyeballs when swimming outside in the sunlight. These goggles lived up to the great reviews. They just feel better put together than the Speedo goggles. The strap is stronger and the sides are much easier to adjust. The lenses are bigger and fit much better around my eyes. After swimming just one lap it felt like I could see twice as much as I could previously. The suction around my eyes is still strong and doesn't let any water seep in.I'd absolutely recommend taking a chance on these goggles instead of going with the generic Speedo varieties at the store.

The Miracle Goggle, or How A Person Who Wears Contacts Can Get the Most Out of the Joy of Swimming.
Swimming is quite possibly the greatest activity on Earth... but if you wear contact lenses it can be a bit tricky. Being an impatient shopper I hastily bought a $5.99 pair of acid yellow swim goggles at the local drug store. I thought they must all be the same, so who cares. Apparently I should have cared. From the first time I used the goggles I knew that I had really blown my decision. Water would immediately begin to rise on the inside of the goggles, making it very difficult to pay any attention to your laps. By my third use of the goggles the left eye filled with so much water that I lost a contact lens. There I am, in the middle of the pool having to complete my laps with one eyed vision. That day I tossed the goggles aside and decided to pick a better pair. After reading many reviews and looking at the tons of choices I decided to go with the Aqua Sphere Kaiman. Mostly because I loved the minimalist look of the black pair and one of the reviews had mentioned that the goggles sealed completely. Days passed as I waited for the delivery. My nights were filled with blind purchase nerves. Then the goggles arrived. From the instant that I first felt the odd texture I knew it was love. They are made of some kind of hypoallergenic material called Softeril. The goggles actually kind of suction themselves to your face in a very comforting "yes, I am sealed" type way. I can't describe the difference such an assurance can be on swimming for someone who wears contact lenses. Now I can swim underwater without any fear of my goggles filling with water and they easily withstand any friction that comes from doing laps. They basically are the miracle goggle. Say "yes" to miracles.

Made in Italy
I purchased this item with Amazon.com as the seller. The item is made in Italy! I have not tried it in a swimming pool as yet but wanted to give feedback because of a sizing issue. Note that the main picture of the product on the Amazon web site gives you the impression that the goggles are smaller than they are. Instead, the "regular" size is larger. Instead of the main picture, click to enlarge the smaller 4 pictures. The second of the 4 pictures, showing a woman's face under the water as she swims, is more representative of the actual size of the goggles on your face (also the third picture of the goggles (on a man) show the actual fit on face.) So if you are looking for a smaller profile goggle on your face, the "regular" size won't fit the bill.I selected the blue color googles with clear lens. I do not think they look cool so from a styling/looks perspective, they get no extra points.Adjusting the strap length is super easy and the goggles are said to offer 180 degree viewing angles.
