It needs to physically fit into the slot at the back of iMac
It needs to physically fit into the slot at the back of iMac (Retina 5k, 27 inch, late 2014). Why don't you check your products before guessing where they will fit. Just because it's Mac compatible doesn't mean it'll fit all Macbooks and iMac. I still want/need this RAM. What can you do to solve this. It needs to physically fit into the slot.

A Good Fit for my 27“ 2017 iMac
The 2 pack of 16GB Memory chips arrived quickly and were easy to install in the 2 empty slots of the memory module. The other two slots contained 8GB chips. Once I turned the computer back on, the setting reflected a total 48 GB of RAM. The net result was that the info retrieval speed of the machine has substantially improved.

New life to my iMac
Bought this to upgrade my iMac 4k 2017, still had the stock 8gb and despite the change to SSD it was still very slow when opening multiple apps or tabs. With the help of the youtube videos "Upgrade RAM in a mid-2017 21-inch iMac without complete disassembly." and "How to Upgrade/Install Memory in a 21.5-inch iMac (Mid 2017) iMac18,1 iMac18,2" I carefully opened up my machine and within an hour the process was done. Amazing decision and the change is noticeable, the computer recognized the memory right away and has been working properly for a week. Recommended.

Las instalé en una iMac 🖥️ mediados de 2019, de 21 pulgadas y la verdad aumento muy bien su velocidad, llevo 4 meses de uso y funciona perfecto aun
